COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with tapioca, quinoa, amaranth and rice

(bottle - 500 ml) Lightly hazy golden color with a fizzy white head. Aroma is very light and dry. Very similar to a saison. Flavor is dry and spicy at the beginning with a smooth and lightly sweet middle. Finishes dry and tart like a saison. Couldn’t really taste the tapioca, that I could tell, but it was still very nice and refreshing.

Bottle. Yellow pour with a small sized head. Aromas of rice. Tastes of rice with some sweetness (guessing the tapioca).

Lightly hazy golden color with a small, white head that left no lacing on the glass. Aroma of rice, some sweeter malts. Taste was starchy, rice, toffee, unpleasant finish.

Bottle at Haggerty’s Fantasy Tasting. Pours hazy yellow orange with a very short white head that stays as film. Aroma is that of a saison. Yeast and fruit. Light-medium body, bubbly carbonation, and a grainy finish. I enjoyed this.

Bottle. Label shows this as 4.7% ABV. Pours a cloudy amber with a tall, dense, foamy tan head. Smells like antique furniture, herbs and old books with a touch of grains in the background. Taste is grainy and slightly herbal with dusty yeast, dried fruit, light spice and sweet malt. Body is light with a strong, bubbly carbonation. Body is essentially like a wit bier. Ends with more grains, soft fruit notes, cereal, sweet malt, light herbal notes, and dusty yeast.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with a large white head. Aromas of phenol, spice and a hint of lemon. Slightly sweet, fruity and yeasty. A hint of hops towards the end. A very mellow and fruity finish.

500 ml bottle. Pours golden in color with an amber hue. Topped with a pure white head. The aroma is spicy with a real graininess to it. There are some mild fruit notes to the flavor with a solid cereal grains background and some earthy spice up front. Really interesting beer. The only real off putting thing about this beer is the price $13 per bottle might stop me from doing this one again.

On tap at NYC Ginger Man. Poured a slightly hazy gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was light fruit, sweet grain with a bit of spice and yeast backing for complexity. Flavor started with sweet bread and grains with a growing light fruit note and a hint of spices and vanilla.

Another winner in an evening of good brews. Big, fizzing head. Aroma has lime and flowers, but a yeasty-soapy undertone also. Light green-khaki color. The flavor has sweet fruity notes, melon, and a bit of Italian soda flavor and chewing gum. Interesting grains in the finish, and I could taste a bit of amaranth (it also has quinoa, rice, and tapioca!). Plenty of foam and nice carbonation. A very good and adventurous brew, but overpriced.
