COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Alc. 12,5% Vol

( 33cl bottle thanks to bu11zeye) Pours opaque orange/brown with no head but good lacing. Nose of apple cider and some alcohol. Taste has no hint of 12% alcohol at all. Some roasty/chocolate flavors here but subdued. Overall it’s undercarbonated a bit too.

Panama City Beach Fl - Chan’s Wine World (brought back by my wife) - stubby 11.2 oz bottle. Pours a dark ruby red fading to brown with a thin, but sticky off-white head. light lacing. Sweet molasses in the aroma, hints of dates and raisins. Flavor is full-bodied and leaning to the sweet side of the spectrum. Pick up some moist canned brown bread, some molasses, a hint of citrus, back end of chocolate. Velvety smooth, thick mouthfeel. Very solid!

Pours ruby colored with a few lonely bubbles of carbonation. This beer was strong but not overpowering, and quite complex with notes of carmelized fruit, vinous malt, sherry, plum, spice and light chocolate. Full to heavy bodied, very light carbonation.

Bottle. Poured clear reddish brown copper color with a moderate frothy light brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate dark fruit, earthy and small caramel malt aroma. Medium to full body with a dry smooth texture and flat carbonation. Moderate to heavy dark fruit sweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a complex beer.

Bottle 330mL. Pours a cloudy brown with not much head and several floaties. Aroma of cocoa, alcohol, and berries. Flavor hides the 12.5% quite well, sweet caramel but not much of the promised cocoa. Finishes dry and a touch thin.

chocolate aroma, hazy golden brown appearance, sweet to bitter taste, light body, thin texture, and soft carbonation. Not what I was expecting. Maybe I was looking for something more like a coffee or chocolate stout? Sorry, Tosta, overall, I am disappointed

mixmasterob (678) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - MAR 14, 2011
Bottle from Greens. Clear dark amber pour with zero head. Light fizz. Aroma was light caramel malt, some sweetness, light booze and a super light roast character. Almost nonexistent. Very uneventful. Flavors were lightly sweet, caramel, not much else. Mouthfeel was smooth, somewhat light. Carbonation super soft. I gave it a higher overall due to the fact that I couldn’t believe it was over 12%. Very drinkable.
