Stout brewed with rosemary.

Draft @ Hoppy Days. Pours a very dark beer with a big bubbly off white head. Aroma is toast, roast, chocolate and malts. Flavor is sweet with coffee touches. Also a very big malty base in there. Sweet aftertaste, decent stuff.

On tap at Hoppy Days. Black pour with a rich creamy brown foam. Aroma is nice and roasty, dark chocolate notes, light leathery notes, maybe even a hint of smoke. Taste is bitter, dark malt bitterness, quite roasty, nice sweetness as well. Where are the herbs? Nowhere to be found and that is quite alright. Palate is creamy, soft carbonation. Nice stout.

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2014 On tap at Hoppy Days. Black colour, dense creamy beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, mocha, coffee beans. Flavour is medium sweet, roasted malts, bitter chocolate, mocha, burnt caramel, nice malty bitter finish. Medium-bodied, very tasty. Not much rosemary detected. Re-rate, second glass a week later, fresh keg I guess: Lots of rosemary in both aroma and taste, light resinous, it does dominate here a bit too much. Still really nice though.

33cl bottle. Pours black with one finger of bubbly very light beige head. Very light smell of roasted malts with light sweet and salty notes. Taste is roasted malts again, light soy sauce, some coffee. Not very refined, a bit confused flavors. Can’t feel the rosemary, some spicy hints in the nose but nothing more. Very dry finish. Strange beer.

Ottima.
