Bottle at the hotel in Rome - sourced from Domus Birrae. Pours clear, dark brown with a fine beige cream head. Nose holds lots of dry roast coffee and milk chocolate. Light sweet flavor with mellow roast, some minerals, dirt, dry chocolate, mellow bitter earth.ight bodied with fine carbonation. Pretty smooth onthe finish, some dirty cocoa, mild minerals, earth, hints of baking cocoa. Very decent.

27/05/2013 Bir&Fud (handpump). Nera, intensa, quasi impenetrabile, schiuma bianco sporca abbondante e incredibilmente persistente.

Bottle in Rome. Opaque black beer, tidy pale tan head. Light dry palate. Dark malt, no roast. Just a little bitter. Mild lactose. Mild minerals and apologetic orangey hops. Dry finish. Meh!

Pours dark as night with a thick brown head. Nose is huge coffee chocolate and some nuttiness. Taste is not strong. Light bitterness and a touch sour. Palate is sharp at first and then drops off altogether. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark brown, tan head. Big head. Great milk stout taste. Sweet and dry at the same time. No coffee. I thought it said coffee on the bottle. Sweet on the back. Much like Foreign Extra Stout all around, but a bit better. Excellent craft beer out of Italy.
