Light black/very dark mahogony brown in the light, with a big light tan head that retains well.
Nose is hops, pine, light chocolate, mineral tones.
Taste comprises pine, hops, bitter grapefruit, light mango, sugars.
Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, dry finish with some bitterness.
Solid Black IPA.

Dark red brown colour with a light beige head. Aroma is moderate. Flavour is moderate. Body is medium. Nicely balanced and easy to drink .

Black with huge brownish foam head, lasting, lacing and making drinking rings. Aroma is quite bitter with some liquorish tones. Taste is pure bitter hops, great. Long bitter aftertaste. (Velp 201212)

Ottima questa Black IPA, decisamente + IPA che Black...aroma di pompelmo ben percettibile, aghi di pino e leggero tostato...forse non proprio un esempio dello stile in causa ma sempre un’ottima bevuta

Bottle 0.5 liters. Nice appearance, lack body with a good head. hoppy aroma. Citrus, resins. Not a great body, nice bitterness. Definitely a good beer.

Ultimamente adoro le black ipa ma questa non l’ho trovata molto esaltante, poco profumata, poco saporita non un retrogusto degno di nota, però bella da vedere!

Ottima birra. Non la solita stout. Luppolata e ben bilanciata, offre sapori a tratti sorprendenti per una scura. Di buon corpo. Ottimo retrogusto amaro. Consigliata.

From tap at Bir&Fud. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and crisp hoppy. Roasted malty, peachy and grapefruity. Bitter and smooth frui nto a roasted malty finish.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Marked 02.07.12. So, an Italian Black IPA? Pours with a clear deep brown body with a small tan head. Aromas are fruity, mildly spicy, light apple like esters, and a touch of tropical fruit. Flavors are tropical fruit, citrus, mild tea, rye, spicy. Some esters. Very mild roast. Pretty tasty. Lively bubbles with a dry finish and light alcohol. Good.
