Birra ispirata allo stile American Style Black Ale (Black IPA), prodotta artigianalmente utilizzando acqua, malto d’orzo, luppolo e lievito.

Slightly hazy brown. Med head. Aroma is orangey-fruity with some toasty brown ale notes. Sweet malts, brown sugar, some toasty character and sweet fruity Dipa-style hops. So like marmalade and brown sugar...makes sense but not my preferred balance. Decent beer, expanding the concept at the sweet end.

Questa è davvero una black ipa in cui prevale il potere del luppolo. Sulla base tostata soffia un vento a stelle e strisce che trascina con se intense note agrumate e di frutta tropicale. L’amaro è persistente. Ottima.

Dark brown color, good brownish head. Woody hoppy, a bit toasted aroma. Medium-bodied. Grassy, piney hoppyness, toasted, slightly sweet malty base. Sweetish black ipa, but very enjoyable with good malt profile.

Shaker glass at sinisternoise, Rome. Dark brown color, thick creamy beige head, intense nose of fruits raisins and hops. Aroma if tropical fruits, grapefruit, citrus, come caramel, lots of roasted malts and interesting american hops. Earthy, possibly yeast. Nice taste curve from the initial caramel sweetness to the hoppy bitter finish. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, dry finish. My first black IPA, nice experience.

Spina @ birrart. Scura con schiuma persistente. Luppolatura invadente, ma piacevole. Un po' troppo poco black... Comunque buona ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhold

Bottle from Birratrovo, Como; bb 29.07.14
Dark brown color, small head. Aroma of hops and earth, dusty malt. It blends some Belgian Dubbel character (caramelly, moderately sweet) with a touch of roasted malts and modern hopping; quite strong bitterness.
Crossover; strange; but not bad.

Bottle from Fork & Bottle, Zurich. Black with good beige head. Citrussy hop nose, moderated ever so slightly by caramel sweetness. Not very original, but nice.

Bottled 0,33L. Black reddish color, much solid with a creamy head of discreet duration. Warm and full of flavour aroma, notes of yeast, hop, red wine, aged grapes. Medium smooth taste, equilibrate alcoholic mouth with a medium sweet body and a round soft yeast and hop final.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Dark amber pour with a white head. The aroma is full of caramel malt, dark fruit and sugar. The flavor is similar with some heavy toffee notes, dark fruit, earth, caramel and pine. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
