COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra in stile American Pale Ale, prodotta artigianalmente utilizzando acqua, malto d’orzo, luppolo e lievito.

Lovely hoppy nose as the bottle pops, grass and resin in plentiful supply. Hazy pale, lively carbonation.

Bottle. Clear golden with a medium white head. The aroma is grass, peach, pine and caramel. The flavour is extremely bitter and hoppy with loads of pine and cats piss. Not very balanced.

Bottle in a bottleshop at RBESG Rome Day 2. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of lots of hops, bit sulphury, sweet honey malt. Flavour is light sweet, hoppy, lemon, firm dry bitter finish. A bit English in style imo. Nice one.

In short: A dry grassy hoppy blonde beer of some kind. Good session beer.
How: Tap at Bir&Fud, Rome Italy
The look: Clear blonde body topped by a small white head leaving good lacing
In long: Nose is light with notes of grassy hops. Taste has crisp cereals, a touch of honey, a touch of caramel, some boiled potatoes, good amount of grassy and leafy hops. Finish has a medium bitterness and is rather dry. I am quite surprise to see it listed as an American Pale Ale. To me with the hopping character and lack of fruit esters I assumed it was drinking some kind of bastard pilsner. Another nice Italian session beer, something they do well, especially when you can drink them fresh on location. Italy is nice, but it can be a traumatizing experience for someone like. I never pay my debts and it always worries me when I have an Italian walking behind me.
