COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle at hotel margherita in praiano. Pours translucent medium yellow gold with medium fast settling head. Consumed with pancetta/potato pizza. Smells..floral hops, citrus too...lemon, spices and some pale malts. Tastes.. Really well balanced citrus and spice notes, malts sweeten as it warms in the 30+ degrees. Sensational saison!

Light gushing to good, light yellowish head over fully hazy orange beer, apparently well-carbonated. Very fresh, outspokenly citrussy nose, with fresh hops and pale malts in evidence. Citrus, also lemonbalm remaining the dominating aroma. Spicy, even peppery flavour, much less citrussy than the nose suggested. Again pale malts; bitterish (root)spices. Citrus returns to some extent in the aftertaste. Feels even more carbonated than the looks suggested. Despite a lightly burning mouthfeel, refreshing and very easily drinkable. More saison than many’s the "saison" the craftbeermarket wants us to swallow - including Belgian ones. Add a tad of ironoxide, and Syrentum might even pass as an historical Saison. Mille grazie, amici!

10/05/2012 Open Baladin Roma (750ml bottle). Dorata, lievemente torbida, bella schiuma biancastra, molto persistente.

Bottle 750ml.

Unclear medium to dark yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, lime, spicy hops, light moderate yeasty, spicy, bubble gum - mint notes. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet, light light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, fresh fresh ;O) citrus peel notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20111108]

Bottled@The 2nd ES/CS Beer Tasting. (thanks FB!). Amber colour with a small beige head. Aroma is barnyard, sweet malts, spices, some slight leathery and earthy notes along with mild herbs. Flavour is being quite similar with a quite dry fruity and herbal finish. Pleasantly balanced. Nice performance from this (for me) new brewery.
