3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Medium offwhite head. Clear deep yellow body. Earthy peas and mint aroma with pine needle notes. Dry-sweet minty pine needle taste with earthy mealy notes. Md-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy minty aftertaste with pine needle and perfumy fruity earth notes. Nice, interesting, drinkable and unusual. (1l PET bottle, Bamb Alyne, Vilnius.)

Pancake aroma, touch of jam and cream too. Perfumy. Slightly thin palate, has an acidic edge. Decent maltiness, a touch of pine nuts, in fact there’s a lot of light malts, and it’s just short of bockiness. Lovely hoppiness. Acidity and lacticity a bit strong, but still easily drinkable. Needs familiarity with the local Lithuanian feel to get over the acidity. Packed full of malts though.
