" Aukštaičių" alus nauja- tai atrasta sena. Šis alus turi savo istorija. " Biržų alaus " darykloje alus " Aukštaičių" jau buvo verdamas prieš du dešimtmecius. Alus gaminamas iš technologiškai paruošto vandens, šviesaus salyklo, pridedant karčiųjų ir specialių , tik šiai alaus rušiai naudojamų apynių. Šio alaus gamybos procesas labai ilgas - jo brandinimas užtrunka 60 - 90 paru. Gerai išlaikytas " Aukštaičių" alus yra klampus, sodraus skonio, 7 proc. stiprumo, pusiau šviesus , alus - skirtas ivairioms progoms.

Pancake aroma, touch of jam and cream too. Perfumy. Slightly thin palate, has an acidic edge. Decent maltiness, a touch of pine nuts, in fact there’s a lot of light malts, and it’s just short of bockiness. Lovely hoppiness. Acidity and lacticity a bit strong, but still easily drinkable. Needs familiarity with the local Lithuanian feel to get over the acidity. Packed full of malts though.
