Dull dark honey colour. Sweet aroma like golden syrup. Very sweet character, bland, a little bit of malt and a lot of syrup, with a few higher alcohols. Sweet finish. No carbonation and no head.

My Bottom Line:
Subtle honeyed and toasted malts dwell in a crisp body concluded by a light hop finish.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam tops the clear golden.
-Bubbly carbonation makes this easily drinkable.
-Peas used in the mash don’t really appear in the flavor profile (when fresh, anyway).
-This is an inoffensive, highly drinkable lager. Nothing more, nothing less.
-The unfiltered, unpasteurized which is only available on tap was slightly better than the filtered, pasteurized bottles.<

Plastic bottle shared by Faroe. Clear golden body with a small white head. Cereal, corn and fruity aroma. The flavour is malty, caramel, hay and cereal. It ends up cereal and grainy.

UPDATED: MAY 5, 2012 500ml bottle (SOPP2009) (5:2:5:3:10=2.5)
Slightly lactic lager in the Latvian to Lithuanian way. Pleasantly sweet fruity pancake and cream taste, some honey. Pleasantly hoppy finish lasts for a while. Decent lager.
500ml bottle (Birzu Brewery) (5:2:5:3:9+=2.4+)
Sweet. Not much aroma, just simple malts. Smooth. Clean. Well made, but there’s just nothing to get your teeth into.

Plastic bottle@SOPP. Clear golden color, small white head. Sweet diacetylic, "plastic bottle" aroma. Very sweet, butterscotchy flavor. Almost flat. Not very alcoholic. Somethjing to forget quickly.

Plastic bottle. Golden color and sweet aroma. Alcoholic and sweet. Not so strong. Drinkable, but I prefer more hoppy beers.

Plastic bottle:
Aroma has notes of honey, fruit mash and raisins. Dark golden color. Sweetish, strang but awful taste. Definitively no beer.

Quite sweet, not so strong, but still alcoholic. Average beer from Birzai region, where brewers make strong, sweet and tasty beer.
