Proud to be a Hefeweizen. Clove. Fruity (lemon, maybe banana too) but not sugary. Good weight.

Bottle pour. Nice wheat aroma. Light golden in color, head was below average and disappointing head which dissipated quickly. Palate had mild wheat flavors with additional mild fruity tinges at the back of the tongue. A decent sipping weisse beer for casual drinking. Not great but not bad.

500ml bottle in a lager glass. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of pale malts, wheat, and some floral hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. A slightly below average wheat beer.

A - Pours a cloudy golden pale straw. 3 Finger fluffy head. T - Honey kissed clove and lots of it. A nice yeasty character, pears, ham....seriously I’m getting strong ham aromas. T - Nice spicy yeast, a plethora of wheat, apples, clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg. M - Creamy. A very fall flavored Hefeweizen. It’s a Thanksgiving Hefeweizen! This is on the spice side of this style. A solid drinker. Serving type: bottle 08-28-2010

11.2oz bottle in a novelty Bubba Gump weissen glass. Pours slightly hazy pale orange with plenty of white head and decent lacing. Nose is wheaty and floral. Flavor adds corn-like qualities. Light to moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Quite refreshing. Cereal aftertaste. Worth a shot.

Aroma is light sweetness and bubble gum. The flavor is bubble gum, mild grain/malt sweetness and a mildly tart finish.

Medium amber with a light head covering and light swirls of lace. The taste is hard to pin down - it begins with malt and floral hops, but moves to stronger caramel, only to give way to more bittering in the finish. It drinks okay, but doesn’t match my idea of a hefeweizen, especially one from Germany.

(old notes) Bottled as Bischoff Hefeweizen. Pours a light orange, not very cloudy for a hefe. Big foamy head. Smells of clove, allspice, a little citrus. Not getting banana in the aroma. It;s there in the flavor, though, along with orange peel and some sweeter fruit notes. A lot of fruit on the finish. Not bad.
