3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
on tap in a plastic cup at a fanfest in kaiserslautern, just after australia’s victory over japan. pretty pale but with a pleasant floral aroma, some nice grassy bitterness with vanilla sweetness and a creamy texture. good stuff, not that i was in much of a mood for complaining about anything

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw and citrus - and so is the flavor.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Light golden in colour with a small white head. Slightly bitter and malty. And very very mild. Not much flavour all together.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
I’ve noticed a lack of ratings for this brew. Do we think it’s because it’s really really rare or is there some other reason like, I don’t know, like why bother? Hmm…..an imported pilsener-style lager in a green bottle. Been there, done that, got the skunk. Perhaps it’s better where it’s brewed. My advice: if you want a good pilsener stick with a solid domestic.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pretty tasteless and bland beer. Had it on draught in some guest haus in germany. Tasted watery if anything, with little to no hops on the nose or tongue. Nothing offensive here, just really nothing here at all.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: DEC 20, 2010 The aroma is typical of the style with malt dominating. There is some yeast and grassy hops in there too. The appearance fits the style perfectly with the pale gold color and lots of bubbles sadly the head fell pretty fast. The flavor has a cereal malt taste with a rather bitter hop. The palate is thin but very carbonated. The aftertaste is sort of corn like. If you are into euro style macro pilsners you will probably like this one but I think it’s sub par.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle 50 cl) Pale golden with a creamy head. Very, very aromatic from some good hops, still smooth and soft before the bitterness hits you in the finish. A good example to show that a well crafted pilsener kan be a small piece of art. 080501

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear yellow beer with a fizzy soda head. Corny and starchy, not among the best German pilsners I’ve had.
