2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pretty tasteless and bland beer. Had it on draught in some guest haus in germany. Tasted watery if anything, with little to no hops on the nose or tongue. Nothing offensive here, just really nothing here at all.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: DEC 20, 2010 The aroma is typical of the style with malt dominating. There is some yeast and grassy hops in there too. The appearance fits the style perfectly with the pale gold color and lots of bubbles sadly the head fell pretty fast. The flavor has a cereal malt taste with a rather bitter hop. The palate is thin but very carbonated. The aftertaste is sort of corn like. If you are into euro style macro pilsners you will probably like this one but I think itís sub par.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle 50 cl) Pale golden with a creamy head. Very, very aromatic from some good hops, still smooth and soft before the bitterness hits you in the finish. A good example to show that a well crafted pilsener kan be a small piece of art. 080501

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear yellow beer with a fizzy soda head. Corny and starchy, not among the best German pilsners Iíve had.

2.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Yellow beer with a small fizzy white head that quickly dissapears. Skunky as hell. Flavor is not as bad as the aroma. Its still a pilsener. Some decent malt on the front, hoppy bitter pilsener aftertaste at the end. Its drinkable, may even have been decent if not for the skunkís butt that kept getting in my face.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy cider-gold. Nice head, very creamy, great lacing. Nose grassy, sweet, bit biscuity. Tastes sweet with some lemon crispness with some toasty malts. Finishes bitter at first, but then comes on sweet and sugary. Bit damp and musty as well. Creamy, full palate.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Screw-top bottle. Flowery hops and malt aroma. Yellow color with moderate head. Crisp light malt flavor with a fairly strong hops finish - a bit more bitter than most German pilseners. Just make sure if you buy the screw-top that it is well sealed.

1.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: AUG 16, 2004 OK class, what do we say about green bottles, especially for fizzy yellow pilseners? Thatís right, theyíre bad. Opposite of good. Wrong. Misguided. Icky. Inappropriate. Anyway, yellow with a white head. Smelled skunky, for some reason. Spritzy feel, toasty and quenching. Mildly peppery and floral notes throughout.

Fairly standard middle of the road Pilsner here. Nice gold color and frothy white head. Slight hop aroma. Sweet with a dry finish.

This one has a sweetish malts but finishes dry with somewhat acrid hoppy finish. No seven-pack for me, but a decent value at $6/six
