330 ml flip-top bottle picked up at the Toom in Landstuhl. Pours a copper-amber color with a nice beige head. Taste is dried fruit, malt and caramel. Palate is smooth and sweet. A nice Landbier.

Hört sich ja interessant an mit den 5 Malzsorten. Die Schaumkrone des Bieres hält sich nicht so gut, farblich ist es mittel-hell braun. Es riecht sehr malzig(!) und etwas grasig. Geschmacklich ist es im Anrunk durchaus interessant, man schmeckt die verschiedenen (na zumindest einige von den 5) Malzsorten schön herraus, süßlich etwas röstig und waldig-hopfig, leider wird es im Nachgeschmack vergleichsweise langweilig. Fazit: Leckeres Bier, das nur etwas Verstärkung im Nachgeschmack bräuchte. Lohnt sich! Test vom 3.10.2010, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,12,12,9,10,10 - 10,35

This beer is poured into a logger glass. It ha an amber color with little head. Aroma is citrus and spice. Flavour is the same citrus with spice. It is slightly oily with a little carbonation. Overall it is decent.

Pours a hazy light golden yellow. Aromas of straw/grass/hops. Flavors of light fruitiness, caramel malts, mellow hop finish.

Brotiger Geruch, der kurz eine Ähnlichkeit zu einem Malztrunk andeutet. Herb-bitterer Antrunk mit vorhandenen aber eher geringen Malznoten. Diese wirken wie im Geruch brotig und ziemlich trocken, was im Mittelteil auf das Bier abfärbt. Die Bitterkeit steigt dabei an, das Malz wird etwas muffig und in Teilen metallern. Nicht sonderlich harmonisch, zum Ende langweilig. 7/7/7/7/9/7

A rare amber colored beer, bright, coppery. The aroma is a bit stale, with very light caramel and cereals. There is some flavor of corn and caramel, frankly boring. Correct bitterness.

Bottle 330ml. w. swing top @ home.

Clear medium amber orange color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, nutty, light roasted and caramel. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110108]

Bottled. An amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt as well as lighter notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry finish where a note of straw appears. Thanks fiulijn for this.

Bottle at Ungstrup. Clear orange coloured with a medium sized off-white head. Sweet and malty aroma of caramel and rye bread. Sweet flavour of caramel, rye bread and hops. Hoppy finish.

clea abmer smooth white head. caramelly aroma, faint sweet malty, almost nutty notes in the aroma flavor is caramelly, bitter caramelly, sort of cloying bittersweet.
