Bottle. Light dusty fruit nose.Cloudy amber, big creamy golden head. Fairly flat first impression, soapy fruit, minerals, citric touch, light earthy berry aftertaste. Wasnt super-impressed.

Swing-top by 10.09.12. Dusty, wild nose, reminds very strongly of a barn, aching old wooden beams and hay (lofts) included. An uncanny resemblance. And yet there’s some sweetness. Light orange body, sudsy off-white head. Near-rubbery astringent bitterness, low but exposed by lack of sweetness. Light-bodied, and really very pleasant.

It’s hazy, dark amber and the head is huge and creamy. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel and fruit. The flavor has a moderate sweetness and notes like the aroma, and the finish is slightly dry.

Pours copper colour with a slightly white head. Aroma of grass, herbs and some slightly toasted notes. Flavour of slightly toasted malts, grassy hops, herbs, salt and light citrusy notes. Light mouthfeel, thin mouthfeel and a finish of toasted malts, grass and light fruits. Not really the most refreshing Zoigl out there and lacks hops as well, maybe this has seen it’s best days already.

bottled. pale golden, faint head; doughy aroma with faint lemon zest; some pineapple upside down cake and modest bitterness. questionable whether it’s a zoigl but it’s a decent kellerbier at the very least

Gyllene med dragning åt orange. Ganska kraftigt gul-vitt skum. Söt maltighet, jäst och humlebeska som drar åt ett öret och citrus. Samma går igen i smaken.

Bottle. Light amber, hazy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate malty - faintly grainy and sweetish aroma, light caramel and light grassy hoppyness. Light to moderate, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish flavor, some caramel and light grassy hoppyness. Finish is short to average, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, light caramel and light grassy hoppyness. Sweetish kellerbier with some caramel.

Bottle from supermarket somewhere in Wiesbaden. Dark golden color with huge white head. Aroma of malt, hops and honey. Taste, sweet malt, grain, spices, light bitter hops. Light bitter finish. Drinkable.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Copper amber color. Bready aroma. Bready, caramelly and slightly soapy taste.

Dezent würziger Antrunk, deutlich hopfig. Das Bier wird aber schnell milder, der Mittelteil wirkt neben der Getreidenote wässrig. Auch der Nachgeschmack ist von einer deutlichen Wässrigkeit geprägt, leicht malzig und getreidig. Test vom 18.8.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,8,10,9,13,9 - 9,10
