Bottle. Pours a clear light light yellow with no head. Aroma of sweet, rich apple. Flavor is rich and syrupy with light apple sweetness. Not super apply nor as sweet as other ice ciders that I’ve had. Some dryness in the finish; very wine-like. Very pleasant drinking, super enjoyable.

Bottle thanks to Cletus, sampled on 8/24/08: Pours a viscous deep golden with nice legs and clarity. Aroma of sweet sugary Granny Smith apples and a nice tart character with a touch of melon. Body starts with good sticky fullness and sugary apple fruitiness balanced with some tartness before a warming sweet finish. Could use some drier, more tart balance and hide its alcohol a little better, but still fairly enjoyable.

Courtesy Hopscotch. Pours a dark yellow very clear and still. Sweet applesauce and candy apple aroma. Sweet tangy apple, some caramel and finishes with a little bite. Very nice.

Courtesy hopscotch. Pours a still,clear golden orange color with no head. The aroma is very sweet of candied apples and alcohol. The flavor follows with more candied apples, some tart granny smith, and alcohol present throughout. Oily slick body with virtually no carbonation with a tart and hot finish from the booze. Pretty good ice cider, but the alcohol heat keeps this from being in the upper tier of ice ciders.

Bottle thanks to Cletus (looks like everyone got it from John...great trader...trade for it!) Pours a harvest gold hue with some moderate legs. Aroma of strawberry, sweet, apples, wild flower honey, tannins, alcohol and light tobacco. Taste is sweet and fruity up front with apple and dry apricot, orange blossom honey, lightly earthy with some alcohol. Viscous mouth feel. A very decent American made ice cider. Thanks John for sending me this treat!

Bottle... O’sS&BS-I-T-YVBThrowdown... Clear golden cider with tons of nice legs developing after a couple really nice swirls around the tasting glass. Boozy, apply, ethanol nose. Full-bodied and oily with no real carbonation. The flavor is boozy with some apples thrown in. Starts sweet, then acidity kick in - the strong alcohol heat never fades. Finishes tart and warming, then it dries out a bit. Kudos to Cletus for shipping this bottle to me!

Bottle from Cletus - thanks! This is my first American Ice cider and I am quite impressed. Nice golden color with an aroma that is wonderfully sweet and tart with some heavy apples. Flavor is heavy with sweet and tart apples, some honey and brown sugar in the background, and a load of pure sugar. Thick and viscous with just a hint of alcohol. Really nice, but not quite a La Face.

Bottle thanks to Cletus, my first Ice Cider. Pours a translucent golden color with a few bubbles. The body slides down the side of the glass leaving some nice legs of slick oil. The aroma is very nice; some alcohol, strong apples, light honey also. The flavor is sweet, lots of apples, some sour and sweet apple flavors. I like the oily palate. It is very easy to drink despite the ABV and a lot of warmth.

Small bottle courtesy of Cletus: Poured a bright deep yellow cider with some very sweet apple notes but lacking the apple pie notes that I always look forward to in ice cider. Not alcohol but full oily-like body.
