The aroma is roasted malt and a hint of chocolate.
The taste is a robust roasted malt with the chocolate balancing but not surpassing the malt. great balance.
Slick texture with moderate carbonation and medium to heavy body.
A solid stout.

Minimal chocolate flavor, even if the chocolate aroma was decent. Bitter taste that I would not have expected.

12oz bottle - pours very dark brown with plenty of light brown head and thin lacing. Nose is roasted malts, chocolate and dark fruit. Flavor adds light coffee and faint metal. bitter like dark chocolate and slightly sweet. smooth. lingering bitter chocolate aftertaste.

Bottle. Overall okay stout. Strong roasted aroma with some coffee and light chocolate. Heavy carbonation for a stout. Would guess better from tap.

Aroma is off sweet. Kind of a roasted malt character. Head is nice and white. One headed stout more coffee than chocolate. MEH this one really isn’t a favorite. Don’t always be fooled by the "chocolate" description of a chocolate stout

From notes. I like this one but a bit thinner than expected/wanted. Flavor was smokey with chocolate finish.

Enjoyable stout. I was surprised, since I typically don’t gravitate toward organic beer. Really enjoyed how the taste didn’t linger too much - though it was delicious, I’m not a fan of taste that continues on.

Black, with a dark tan head.
Aroma is malt, cocoa.
Taste is smoky, watered-coffee, ash.
The chocolate gets lost in the thinness of it.
More of a weak porter....a very weak porter.
Flavour is ok....just almost non-existent.
