omhper (9704), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 13, 2006 Draught at Stuffed Sandwich, San Gabriel. Dark brown, small creamy head. Notes of coffee. Sweet with plenty of molasses and rather mellow mouthfeel. Lightly salty finish. A sub-par stout. argo0 (5860), Washington DC, USA Oct 7, 2002 Motor oil viscosity on the pour, leaving you with a virtually black body, topped by a medium deep mocha head. Great chocolate aroma tinged with a bit of coffee. Flavor is rich, chocolate and roasty coffee, some hops at the back of the throat. kp (5800), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 07/31/2004

chocolate aroma immediatly upon opening the bottle and even before pouring the thick black liquid into the glass, nice tan head, rich roasted chocolate aroma and flavor, flavor just keeps getting richer as it warms, lots of bitterness in the finish that eventually becomes too much after a while, overall a very good stout except for the overdone bitter malt finish

duff (5398), Sydney, Australia, England May 28, 2004 Bottle. Pretty decent little stout. Heaps of roasted bitterness, and bitter chocolate. Decent balance and flavour, not particularly complex, but tasty. Rastacouere (5106), Saint-Lambert, Quebec, Canada Sep 20, 2006 Opaque black pour that grows a large 1-inch tall foam that looks nitro-generated. Its aroma feels a bit simplistic due to its lack of dimensions, but the focus is there, hitting us directly with coffee beans and rather pure cocoa graininess. The result is a rather dry beer, certainly powdery and direct, but confident in its graininess. Limited hop profile is compensated by bitter roastiness.
