3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Cloudy brown with a small off-white head. The aroma is malty, alcohol, yeast and gingerbread (of course). The taste isnít as sweet as I originally expected it to be. It actually seemed a little sour to me and doesnít have much of a gingerbread taste in it. It leaves a strange aftertaste in your mouth - one kind of soapy. Itís ok.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Big Bottle. Aroma is of spices/cinnamon/ginger, with undertones of hops, and a little malt. Flavor is just like that of gingerbread- warming, with some hops and a little malt thrown into the mix. Although it reminds me of gingerbread and pumpkin pie, I donít taste any pumpkin in it (probably the cinnamon and ginger)! Had this a while ago so I am doing this from memory, and I definitely remember this beer. Very and will definitely buy again! excellent as a seasonal winter beer.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
smells not like a gingerbread man, but like a whole damn gingerbread family. Dang. vanilla frosting aroma as well. flavor is all gingerbread, nutmeg, allspice, and cinnamon, with a hint of vanilla. Almost like a Chirstmas Ale

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
I could not finish this one. It was not bad and that is not the reason, it was just too sweet and unbalanced on the spiciness. Harsh and astringent, way too spicy and sweet. Woody and full of wet cardboard, this was just not for me.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
22 oz bottle. Deep brown beer, light yellow tint, creamy tan head, nice spicy aroma, ginger, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg and sweet brown sugar. There is a definite sour aroma that is quite unappealing, maybe a bit of diacetyl as well. Spicing comes across as a bit harsh. Flavour of toasted malt, but malts arenít as complex as they could be. Very spicy but some distracting woody flavours sneak in. Not a great spiced ale.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Deep reddish brown. Small white head that quickly falls. Aroma is woody, some malts and some gingerbread. Tastes of gingerbread, malts and brown sugar. Seems a tad unbalanced, perhaps too sweet.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
) This beer offers a strong ginger aroma that has hints of citrus that appear in the background. It is hazelnut in color and produces a moderately thick head. The taste is bitter with ginger and other spices appearing in it.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
22 oz. Pours a medium amber. Big aromas of ginger/nutmeg/coriander. Gingerbread flavor was too strong for me, I had force myself to finish the bottle.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle: Deep copper, almost brown, thin light beige head, sudsy, falls quickly, spotty lacing.   Subtle ginger nose, but also some fern and vegetable.   Soft ginger on the tongue, only slightly spicy, with an underlying cereal like flavor.   Not as spicy as I had hoped.   Moderate body, mouthfeel is nearing the thin side.   Very little ginger left at the finish.   Not bad, but not robust enough for my tastes.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A ruby so dark that it looks black from a distance. The head is large bubbled and doesnít last all that long. The aroma is a lot like fresh wort. The spice is reserved and the malt plays more of a role than the spices. Nicely balanced, but a bit thin.
