22oz bomber-A brown body with a medium head and an aroma of of course ginger, roasted malt, faint chocolate and coffee. Taste of a gingerbread cookie with some cinnamon and chocolate and coffee. Nice tasting porter.

Not bad but the balance of the spices seems off, like while baking gingerbread men you lost count of the measurements and put in too much nutmeg and not enough cinnamon or ginger.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 UDBeernut (461) - Saugerties, New York, USA - FEB 17, 2012
bottle courtesy of coldbrewky and friends, poured into a cheater pint glass. No Freshness info.
Deep dark amber with tan on the edges capped by an almost nonexsitant head that reduces to a small cap.
Nose is full of ginger, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Inviting!
Taste is much of the same as the nose with a tad of caramel.
Medium bodied, this beer would have served well on Xmas Eve waiting for Santa to come down the chimney... that is if he got by the blazing stove.

Bottle. Hmm light ginger nose with some clove as well. Ginger and clove barely translate into body of light bodied porter. ginger strangely re-appears at finish. I’ll give em dark mahogany...chewy it is not. ginger is present but not as much as led to believe.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Chudwick (556) - Taylor Mill (KY), FRANCE - FEB 12, 2012
draft - without knowing much about the beer, at first I thought it was either a stout or a porter. Aroma is roasted malts. Sweet start and bitter finish. Enjoyable.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 GreatLibations (1793) - Last Supper, Arizona, USA - JAN 28, 2012
Pours dark brownish with a spritzy head. Smells of ginger and biscuits. Medium nectar weight with balanced acidity to just bring this beer life while the likes of chocolate cakebread and again, ginger play integral. Not a bad beer but a bit much for volume. One is enough.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Chuckaduck (266) - California, USA - JAN 21, 2012
Pours black with a thick off-white head. Aroma is spicy, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon; smells a bit life beef stew. Taste is bittersweet, nutmeg, gingerbread, spicy. It’s definitely what they’re advertising. Nice carbonation; chewy mouthfeel.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 dcschiller (1681) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JAN 4, 2012
(12oz bottle). Pours a clear dark brown with red hues and thin off-white head. Aroma is like pumpkin pie spice with some chocolate, and some fruit. Taste is sweet with a definite gingerbread bite. Some bitterness as well. Thinner bodied. Actually, a pretty neat beer. Probably a little too much spice to make it more than one pint though. Worth a try, for sure.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jcr (1682) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - DEC 25, 2011
Bottle. Hazy, deep brown body with a frothy, light brown head, mostly diminishing. Light aroma of ginger, nutmeg, caramel, toasted grain with a hint of roasted malts. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Spiced tastes, but not overpowering. Roast bitterness lingers into the finish. Average winter ale.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Nephilium (950) - Ohio, USA - DEC 23, 2011
Just a hint of clove and ginger in the aroma. Pours a clear light brown, with ruby being visible when held up to the light, and a thin, quickly fading tan head. The roasted notes of a porter are there and subdued, with the touch of spices coming back in the finish. Fairly thin mouthfeel, and somewhat disappointing. It’s not bad, I was expecting much more in the way of cloves, ginger and allspice however.
