Bottled - I gotta say, I wasnt really impressed with this beer.. With not many gingerbread beers available on the market near me, I really wanted to like this one. The aroma does have a gingerbread smell but its more reminiscent of a pumpkin ale.. Much of the same flavors also. I would drink this again but I wouldnt pay for it if that sums anything up. Not a favorite but somewhat enjoyable.

Fine. Not overwhelmingly gingerbread-y. Let’s the beer flavor through with a hint of the spices.

12 oz bottle. Spices present in aroma but it tastes a bit thin. Honestly doesn’t taste very different from most "pumpkin" beers.

Ok. Good ginger bread aroma, followed through in flavor. What I don't like is this is quite thin, and the base beer is not superb. Should've been a stout. B-

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from bottle. Pours a dark brown, 1 finger head which dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma is initially ginger and sweetness from the malt, followed by a bit of coffee. Taste is good with a fairly typical porter profile of coffe and chocoloate followed with the ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg. The carbonation is fairly high, but not so much that it is out of style.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a dark brownish black color with a light tan head with good retention and lacing. The aroma is holiday spices and dark roasted malts. The taste like the aroma is dark roasted malts up front with some sweetness and the spices coming through in the finish. The mouthfeel is light bodied with a good amount if carbonation. Overall, not a bad little holiday porter that is worth a try.
