COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our organic IPA uses Tomahawk, Cascade, and Centennial hops for a rustic, rough-hewn hop character that pairs great with food or relaxing among friends. Prominent citrus and pine aromas and bitterness that is not over the top balances this medium bodied copper-colored brew.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. Clear golden with a medium white head. Hoppy aroma of citrus fruits, flowers and a grainy hint. Flavor starts with some sweetness and bready hints and continues to a bitter grapefruity hops finish. Medium-bodied. A tasty and rather balanced IPA.

Shrews629 (193) - Kentucky, USA - JAN 31, 2011
Mostly clear copper/burnt orange color. An off white head that was weak in size and retention. It left a minute amount of lacing. A couple bubbles rising to the top. More subdued aromas of grapefruit citrus and floral notes than what is typically found in an IPA I thought. It seems to provide a more pronounced biscuit malt. It’s balanced fairly well, but just insubstantial. This also has an apple juice type of aroma. Again, with the taste, the malt backbone seems to stand out a bit more than the citric bitterness. Small splashes of alcohol find their way into the flavor. The malt is reminiscent of biscuit and caramel. Picking up some earthy tones with some apple flavorings also. Medium mouthfeel. Relatively crisp and smooth. Slight alcoholic burn at the end. Left a little to be desired when covering the palate. Mostly dry in the finish also. This beer is just ok in my opinion. It’s nothing bad, but all aspects seem a bit feeble. This could be a good introductory IPA. The ABV is a bit high for a sessionable beer, but it’s still relatively easy to drink.

(12oz bottle thanks to Cavie) clear medium copper, thin film of bubbles. Nose of stewed tomatoes, smells horrible, umami, rotten vegetables. Taste of stewed tomato, old pepper, just nasty!

FROTHINGSLOSH (3209) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 28, 2010
From the beer of the month club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden-amber color with a medium sized creamy beige head that lingered and produced good lacing. The aroma was bitter with moderate grapefruit, light pine and light pineapple. The flavor was dryish and nutty with a moderately strong grapefruit presence and light notes of pine and sour caramel. The finish was long and bitter with lingering grapefruit. Moderately full bodied. Decent.
