0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 bu11zeye (9626) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - DEC 9, 2010
(12oz bottle, courtesy of Cavie) Pours a clear golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of herb, grass, and cow manure. Flavor of spruce, rotten vegetables, grain, and some caramel with a mouth numbing finish. Reminds me of winters growing up on a diary farm, when a cow with the runs craps everywhere and you can almost taste it. The steaming manure smell that makes you wanna to gag. One of the worst IPAs I have ever tried.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Cavie (3249) - Fort Worth, Texas, USA - DEC 6, 2010
Clear heavy gold color. Small amounts of head. Aroma is perfumy hops, spiced notes, and a bit of underarm notes. Flavor is sharp hops, slightly dirty tasting, biting hops and a sad finish. Lingering off-flavored.
3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 dyetube (985) - McKinney, Texas, USA - DEC 6, 2010
This pours a gollden amber with a thin white head. The aromas are skunk, closet. The moutheel is sticky and bitter. Cheers.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 drowland (3570) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 6, 2010
12/1/10. Cloudy orange pour with a small off-white head that fades but laces a bit. Mild, slightly sour hoppy aroma that fades into a similar flavor with a lot of sweet caramel malt. Meh.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 brenn79 (859) - Idaho, USA - NOV 24, 2010
12 oz. bottle- Pours clear golden with a nice sustaining pillowy white head, aroma is very citrusy with some pine, orange rind. The flavor is very fruity with a nice mellow hop kick, the aftertaste is resinous pine. A very well balanced sessionable IPA, could drink many of these.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 crazyvin (1536) - New York, USA - NOV 17, 2010
A nice copper body with a white head, good lace. Aroma had a strong citrus presence, mainly oranges. Some bread like malts. A good malt profile and a nice hop bite. A decent IPA, but nothing spectacular. Finish needed to be drier. I’d still have it again though.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Cybercat (1737) - Georgia, USA - NOV 10, 2010
Aroma is fairly hoppy with an undertone of sweet citrus, mainly mandarin orange. It pours a pretty clear amber with a thick, fluffy, fairly persistent off-white head - an extra half point there. Flavor is hoppy and just a little bitter with a hint of citrus sweetness. Texture is pleasingly smooth with a nice fizz, and it leaves a hoppy, woody, slightly bitter and subtly tingly finish. This is not the best IPA I have ever had, but it is worthy of at least a try.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 wnoble (642) - French Lick, Indiana, USA - AUG 20, 2010
Pours bright orange and clear with a creamy white head. Nose is earthy, English hops, flowers, malt, and some caramel. Taste us surprisingly more malty than expected with light hop notes and lightly bitter on the palate. Maybe a good English style but I prefer the American IPAs.
