COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our organic IPA uses Tomahawk, Cascade, and Centennial hops for a rustic, rough-hewn hop character that pairs great with food or relaxing among friends. Prominent citrus and pine aromas and bitterness that is not over the top balances this medium bodied copper-colored brew.

I would call it an interesting IPA flavor, if I liked it, but I’m not sure I do. I’ll give it another try someday.

Clear orange color, little to no head that is white in color. Citrus and hops in the aroma. Slightly bitter taste with a mixture a malt and citrus flavors.

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2006 I don’t know who is giving this beer a bad reputation. In my opinion this is one of the benchmarkers. I also believe there should be (2)categories of IPA’s. I love some of the hoppier IPA’s but this one gives you the bite with a smooth coffee kind of finish.I always drink this beer very cold out of a frosty mug. Try this beer you will not be let down

Nice bottle. Pleasing smell of bread, grass, malt and honey, but don’t be deceived. Light drink but finish is overly bitter which doesn’t spoil this very much. Enjoyable beer. Good alcohol content.

Not bad, not great, but very drinkable. A lot of "not too’s," i.e. not too hoppy, piney, citrusy or bitter. If I were served this IPA sight-unseen, I’d say, "not bad."

Beer of the month club. 330ml bottle. Clear light copper, small white head. resiny nose with soft citrus notes. high bitterness backed by light to medium malt flavor. bitter orange peels, grass, medium body, alcohol isnt a factor. pleasant texture and long aftertaste. not bad, though a little too bitter.

Med. heavy roasted malt, med brwn color, little head, cardboard, some citrus, honey, pine; initial bitter acidic, with sweet but dry background, finislh bitter/sour, carbonation soft with a med astringent finish. interesting, but body holds back finish. I like the change from the usual IPA on occasion

Smells like barley with slight citrus. Tastes like piney grapenuts, hence barley smell. Finishes bitter. Not bad, but wouldn’t call it an IPA.

Great aftertaste. Pours smooth. Good IPA for an afternoon drink vs evening ( tastes lighter than other IPAs)
