COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our organic IPA uses Tomahawk, Cascade, and Centennial hops for a rustic, rough-hewn hop character that pairs great with food or relaxing among friends. Prominent citrus and pine aromas and bitterness that is not over the top balances this medium bodied copper-colored brew.

Pours hazy orangy-golden color with modest head. Nose is almost entirely absent, but with what is there it is just simple citrus. On the palate this one is quite malty for an IPA, with alcohol rearing its ugly head even when the pint is at its coldest initially after the pour. Bitterness is there, but not a lot of the nice aromatic, floral, citrusy, piny hops. What a let down.

Clear heavy gold color. Small amounts of head. Aroma is perfumy hops, spiced notes, and a bit of underarm notes. Flavor is sharp hops, slightly dirty tasting, biting hops and a sad finish. Lingering off-flavored.

Bottle from Cavie. Light orange pour with a small white head. Aroma is brown sugar, spice, and citrus. Taste is old vegetation, hops, and tart fruit.

Bottle courtesy of CantillonKing. Served in a Hill Farmstead tulip. Pours a very hazy orange-copper with a good white head that goes away almost immediately. A few spots of lacing. The nose has not much other than some bread and accompanying toasted crust. The flavor has a slight bit of light hop bitterness, but not any hop flavor. Bready malt, that’s it. Body is medium with a slight bitterness in the finish. Too chewy. Not a big fan of this. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 06-16-2011

Ruby color, no head, no lacing, light carbonation. The nose is vegetal, asparagus and salty dough with caramel malts. The flavor is crude, sweet and coating. Not my cup of tea (or beer in this case). Finishes stale, uncarbonated, a bit of biting bitterness, cloying sweetness.

22 oz bomber. Orange copper coloured with a thin white head. Earthy malty aroma, with some biscuit and toffee along with a shot of piny hops. Flavour is a bit buttery with caramel, toffee, and an intense resinous hop flavour. Decent bitterness. I found the butter and dank earthiness made this undrinkable as it warmed. Didn’t taste infected, but definitely not my style.

One of my least favorite IPA’s from a California brewer. It’s overly carbonated and far too fruity.

I’m really not a fan so far of this brewery, two beers and both have tasted infected. This IPA pours amber with an offwhite head. Massive hops throughout, but a big ol funk in the finish made it taste dirty and sour.

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2011 Bison Ipa, or is it a buffalo? No aroma, rather clean. Very bitter medicine. Appears syrupy with a tea froth top. Darker than pale yellow american lagers. Very little detectable carbonation. Terribly bitter and lasting linger. Yeww, good example of an IPA. Somebody please get me an Old Heathen for a chaser.

(12oz bottle thanks to Cavie) clear medium copper, thin film of bubbles. Nose of stewed tomatoes, smells horrible, umami, rotten vegetables. Taste of stewed tomato, old pepper, just nasty!
