COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our 15th Anniversary Red Ale is a hopped up version of this classic style. Hints of caramal blend with a copious addition of organic Cascade hops. This crimson beauty boasts rich maltiness and a balanced, medium body.

Very typical Red. Unusually reminiscent of home brew: yeast strain and extreme caorbonation. Straight-forward hops with an adequate malt profile give this a very well balanced flavor, although nothing special. It is however a very good alternative to your standard Red if you aconsider it important that your beer be organic.

There is really not too much to write home about with this one. Not really unique in anyway, but very easy to drink, closer to an APA in my opinion. Hops definitely dominate the aroma and flavor, with a nice balanced toasty malt flavor in the finish. Tastes like cereal.

Pours with a thin white head. The color of the beer is an attractive mellow redish brown. Smells distinictly malty. The taste is of far too much cascade added early in the boil thus allowing the hop to dominate but not bitter the beer and also subsequently masking the malt flavors.

Bottle pours a brownish amber, small white milk foam like head, fairly sticky lacing, with lively carbonation.   A nice combination of malts and hops on the nose, seems well balanced.   I also get a slightly sweet toffee/caramel hint.   Forwardly malty on the tongue, with a little hop bite that balances nicely.   Flavor is quite fleeting, from the middle and towards the finish it falls off rather quickly.   It also seems to be a little less than a medium body.    Only a minor lingering bitterness on the finish and through to the aftertaste.   Wishing also for it to have more caramel in the flavor, but it didnt appear to be there.   This one wasn’t bad, had a great start but a boring finish.
