Pour out of 16 oz can, hazy golden-orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of lemon peel, orange, grapefruit, slight lemon zest, hints of spice, touch of bread with a slight grassy, floral note. Taste was a mix of slight tropical fruit, orange peel, grapefruit, some lemon into some grass, bread, biscuit, touch of yeast, finishing fairly bitter, dry.

From the can dated 4/30/15. Cloudy yellow pour with a tremendous white foamy head. Lots of carbonation. A wide array of malt and hop characters including barley, toast, and even a touch of wheat. The hop aromas run the gamut of floral, citrus, grass, and orange. Inviting. The body is in the medium range. The taste as at first sweet and citrusy and then there is a nice bitterness the comes up from behind and lingers. Yes, I could drink this often.

Can. Pours a hazy pale orange with a white head. Aromas of citrus hops, lemon, grapefruit, slight dankness underneath. Tastes of citrus fruits, similarities to Heady. Light+ to medium bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Really like the taste of this beer.

Can. Hazy gold pour. Lots of lemon and pineapple with prominent biscuity malt backbone. Taste and aroma are a little more muted than I would like. Solid.

16oz can shared by JohnGonk. Poured a cloudy burnt straw color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of dank citrus, orange juice, rotting pineapple, and buiscuity malts. Taste of dank citrus, resin, pine, orange zest, and some caramel and buiscuit malt.

On tap @ Novare Res.

Appearance: Hazy golden-orange with a small white head and good lacing.

Aroma: Moderately hoppy with citrus, a bit or resin and crackery/biscuity malts.

Taste: Good malt backbone. Crackery malts. Citrus, a bit of resins and light bitterness.

Palate: Medium body. Moderate carbonation. A bit oily. Dry finish.

Overall: Not the most expressive Pale Ale, but still interesting aromatics features and nice malt presence. Good balance and good drinkability.

For some odd reason, I thought this was a DIPA, and ended up pouring it into a tulip, woops. If I’m able to acquire again, I’ll make sure proper glassware next time. The appearance was a glossy yellow/orange color. Light stringy lacing starts and then slides into the beer. The smell has a light sweet onion, refreshing pine combining and giving off a slight floral arrangement underneath my nose. The taste was bitter and sweet at different times with a quick resinous finish. There’s no aftertaste. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Sessionability is there. Carbonation seems appropriate for the APA style. Overall, as an APA this is quite good as I would love to pound this on a hot Summer’s day.
