12oz at Toad in the Hole. Yellow with minimal head. Powerfully crackery nose with little trace of other beery elements. Simple, bready flavor and crisp light noble bitterness. Refreshing, if watery, and relatively dry (St. Pauli is the only other NA I’ve had recently, and I kinda prefer that).

Bottle from Centra. Malty and grainy aroma. There is a sweet ceral flavour which ties to mix with a bitter hoppiness without quite succeeding.

My wife is always trying to get rid of me. The other day she told me to put the garbage out. I said to her I already did. She told me to go and keep an eye on it.

330 ml brown twist-off crown cap bottle, from Safari, Lagunen, Bergen, as Bitburger Drive 0,0% Alkoholfrei. Golden colour, moderate white head. Fairly strong grainy aroma with notes of over-boiled vegetables. The flavour is bland and boring, with some unpleasant sourish notes, and a metallic hop extract bite in the finish.

Pale lager body with foamy, quickly disappearing white head. Nose is wort, honey and hints of something astringent and not-very-pleasant-smelling that I can’t quite put my finger on. Taste is well-rounded wort maltiness with a decent hop backing; not very bitter but a good balancing agent against the wort, which is a bit on the sweet side. Some hints of canned meat does appear in the aftertaste, which reduces the rating somehow. I’ve had better low alcos, but worse as well.

330ml bottle from Centra Colosseum Oslo. Clear golden body, loose white head. Meat and grain to the nose. Weird taste of meat and vegetables. Thin, fizzy and unpleasant (hotel room, 10.06.2010).

Bottle. A clear, golden beer topped by a nice white head soon diminishing into a thin layer of bubbles. Nice lacings. Biscuity nose with spent grains and fruits, pretty awful. Quite bitter in the mouth with a bad flavor of biscuity, sour spent grains. Some pleasant fruityness saves the day. Thin and watery, and a bitter finish. A pretty bad one, the bitterness and fruityness prevents it from being a 0.7 beer. 100529
