A genuine Bitburger - without any alcohol - but with the same drive as far as the taste is concerned, in bottles or as fresh draught beer from a keg!

Pale yellow clear body with white foamy head. Smells of wort, dough, cereal. Palate is slick mouthful, carbonation is soft and lievely. Taste is sweet and worty. Typical non-alco taste of liquid bread, Overall a bit too sweet, but not bad at all. Quite refreshing.

330ml bottle (K Kamppi, Helsinki)
Pours a pale gold with a large persistent spongy head. Simple perfumey pils aroma, quite clean, quite pleasant. A touch watery in the mouth, but it is LA and a lager, one might call it "refreshing" instead. Plenty of weetabixy malts, but still there’s the perfume thing going on. Nice dry bitter hop palate, crisp, and resiny finish. None of the flaws that hoppier pils-style LAs usually have (such as being metallic puke). Clean, and crisp. Good for an LA, I actually quite enjoyed it.

pours clear pale yellow with a small white head, little retention. cereals, partially fermented cereals, bland herbal hops, lightly oxidated notes, corn and veggies. average to soft carbonation, light body - watery, very short herbal bland finish. beer before it’s beer... sort of.

Average low alcohol beer in my opinion. Clear golden colour and a pure white medium sized head.

First thing that hit me before even looking at the colour was the smell. Skunky, corny, not very pleasant. Very pale pour with thin white head. The flavour - well, malty, little bit of bitterness, unpleasant skunky aftertaste. To be fair, it doesn’t taste any worse than some big-name European or Australian pale lagers, but that smell!

Pours a crystal clear light copper/caramel color with a foamy head. Aromas of medium skunk, light grain, and grass. Flavors of faded sour grain, slight skunk and light bitter grass. Leaves a light bitter aftertaste without much of any grain flavors like much of the other NA’s.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Typical alcfree with a horrible aftertaste. Maybe drinkable. Maybe.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. clear golden colour with low head and medium body. Taste of unwashed clothes, old leaves and barley. Very undelicious and it was hard drinking it, even when I’ve been very thirsty.

330ml bottle from BWS. I saw this in the bottleshop and thought how bad could it be. As it turns out it is not too bad. Golden amber colour with a soft white head that collapses and scurries off pretty quickly. The aroma is probably the worst part of this beer and the smell reminds me of a year 12 economics brewery tour that I did at school. Flavour wise it is okay and this is a good alternative if you are the designated driver.

Tasteless lager that has some character in its aroma only, but not much. Lacks strength in its texture.
