A genuine Bitburger - without any alcohol - but with the same drive as far as the taste is concerned, in bottles or as fresh draught beer from a keg!

A standard 0.0. Not bad nor good. There are cheaper alternatives like san miguel 0.0.

The beer is a light golden non-alcoholic beer with magnificent persistent foam. The aroma is hoppy and the taste is slightly malty and a little watery. Hop bitterness is moderate and quite tasty.

330ml bottle as "Bitburger Drive". Clear golden color. Huge size, thick white head, stays. Sweet, malty, boiled vegetables, metallic aroma. Corny, cardboard, raw grains and hop extract in taste. Horrible aggressive bitterness in aftertaste. Dry papery mouthfeel. Never again!

Bottle@ Konsum. Pours clear golden with small white head, doesnt stay.Aroma is malty, bready, grassy. Taste is grainy-bready,corny, malty, grassy, some bitterness. Thin body. bitter finish. Not bad for a alco free macro lager.

Clear golden, tall frothy head, stays. Stable lacing. Nose of grains, cereal, hay. Light body. Thin. Sweetish corny taste with notable grassy bitterness. Hoppy finish. Well balanced. One of better NA’s for sure.

33 cl Flasche.

0.33 l bottle at a restaurant in Koblenz... Golden clear color, good stable head... Sweet malty aroma, little bit like malt beer. Some mild hop aromas... For an alcohol free beer okay, but for my taste a little bit to sweet...

While there isn’t a hell of a lot to this beer, it was clean, clear and was essentially a placebo beer that you wouldn’t have known was alcohol free. In its time and place (Burmese food at dinner) it was perfect. Stand-alone, an averagely good lager, which makes it an excellent low abv option.
