A genuine Bitburger - without any alcohol - but with the same drive as far as the taste is concerned, in bottles or as fresh draught beer from a keg!

Poured from bottle to glass. Crystal straw color with stark white head that dissipated quickly. Larger bubbles and highly carbonated. Nice pilsner like aroma of malt, straw, honey, floral, slight pepper. Taste is initially sweet with a tartness. Finishes a bit sharp...almost metallic similar to copper. A slight bitterness/acidity lingers on the palate which is reminiscent of wet paper or cardboard.

How: Bottle (330 ml) at home. Split 2-ways. As "Bitburger Drive".

>>> An intensely skunky Alkoholfrei beer with not much to enjoy.

- Clear golden with a small white head disappearing rather quickly and leaving a small ring of foam.
- Massive skunky presence in nose that unfortunately doesn’t disappear in taste.
- There’s not much that isn’t overpowered by skunk except some wet cereals presence.
- The mild bitterness give you an idea that you just finished your sip despite the lingering skunky presence that is still there.
- Body is light, borderline watery. Carbonation is moderate.

Flavors: Skunk (overpowering everything else), wet cereals.

330ml bottle as ’Bitburger Drive 0,0% Alkoholfrei’, BB March 2016. Clear yellow, lightly sparkling, small white head, light lacing. Aroma is light, airy, some shredded cabbage and white roll. Body is light, tingly carbonation, a little foamy. Taste has a little honey, breadstick and papery malts, tangy drying finish but not really what I’d call ’bitter’. Pretty insipid. Not very drinkable.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass at the World of Beer in Pooler, GA. This is not a good beer. I know it is non-alcoholic but I find O’douls to be much better. With that said this is miles better than Coors N/A, which is downright unpleasant. This beer does have good coloration and and a decent aroma but I found the flavor to be bland and unappetizing.

Pours aclear golden color, topped with a frothy white head. Mild malty aroma, some wet paper notes in there, but nothing too obvious. Taste is sweet, malty. Light body, a tad watery but with some final bitterness. Still offers some taste, so not a bad alco free beer. Better than a number of others actually.

Caña en scotland yard en la Virgen del Camino el 14-08-2015. (r265). Color rubio con espuma blanca poco persistente. Aparte de sabores maltosos poco intensos nada más. Refrescante poco más.

Bottle shared at a little hotel in St. Goar. The owner gave us this and a few other bottles since the bar next door closed after only 1 beer
Clear orange/golden with a small white head, some lacing. Aroma of wet grains. Taste of wet grains, citrus with a bitter finish
Ok. It actually had more flavor than the pils

Dorado intensoy clara, espuma medianamente persistente.

A standard 0.0. Not bad nor good. There are cheaper alternatives like san miguel 0.0.
