Bottle @ German Tasting Ulfborg. Pours clear pale piss yellow with a off white head. Thin, watery and grainy. No off flavors. A bit of hops. But I prefer water. Good Low alc.

Bottle 50cl.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, vegetable, light to moderate hoppy, metalic. Flavor is light moderate sweet and acrid malt bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metalic. [20091003]

Bitburger is starting to be almost the favourite german pils for me, so I tried the low alc version. There is a bit of the same bite left, but just a little. It’s amazing how much a beer looses when you take a couple of % out. Not bad tho, just a little watery and a fraction of the nice hoppy afterburn of real Bitburger.

A avg. of 2.6 is surprising to me. i mean its a bmc upgraded. Like taking a 95 cavalier and adding a spoiler and loud exhaust to make it seem better, but really its still just a cavalier. Pours out a light straw, dark yellow on the verge of being golden, with vey small head. Nose is of cheap beer, a cheap beer ready to skunk, slight hop, grass, even slighter malt, and that always annoying skunk. flavor seemed to steer away from the skunk, and into plain land. Grass, barely hop, so-slight malt, and water.

Vegue vegetable-like aroma. Vegetable-bitter flavor, not overwhelming in any way, but enough to be a bit annoying. Thin.

Bottle: I read the other reviews and I must disagree with those who rate this as a decent Light. It’s very flat, watery, plain, with a metallic and chemical nose. Just as terrible as most other lights.

Bottled somewhere in Germany. Yellow color with almost no white head. Aroma almost nothing, taste pretty the same. It was like water, but from water you don’t wait any taste. bad.

hazy yellow with an anemic albino head. aroma of bile and skunk feces. acidic flavors that flog my tongue. moldy mouthfeel. finish tastes like Kilz smells.
