Good, tasty beer. Along with Warsteiner, a good a fallback-beer (one to get when you just need a good, basic beer) as any!

A regular good german "lawn mowing beer", nothing more and nothing less. Pale golden and very easy to drink.

Cant rate appearance... in bottle...nothing great of note, pilsnery and light...cheap beer
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Wombata (331) - Kobe, JAPAN - APR 14, 2013
Aroma: earthy,floral, straw/yeast, grainy malt
Flavor: roasted, grainy malt, lemon and bitter lemon peel, bitterness carries on through a long finish.
Comment: well-integrated flavors and bitterness; great malt and hop balance. A cut above most mass-produced pilseners. Can preserved freshness well; must have been REEFERED.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Shag (2439) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - APR 13, 2013
A golden color with a white head. Aroma contains some lemons and grassy notes. The flavor is rather bitter and contains some citrus and herbal flavors. The aftertaste is a bit dry and bitter. Overall this is a decent pils, why can’t Miller Lite be THIS?

The Miller Lite of Deutschland. Nothing too special about this "special" beer. Would be fun to drink with a crowd of intoxicated Germans.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 danlo (342) - Durham, ENGLAND - APR 12, 2013
500ml bottle. Clear pale yellow gold colour, foamy white head and aroma of malt, grain, grassy hop. Taste is sweet malt, grain, hay with a slightly metallic dry bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation. OK.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Bronzan (103) - Windsor, California, USA - APR 10, 2013
Little to no aroma. Pours light, clear and blonde. Not a whole lot of taste, but fairly crisp. I've certainly had worse beers.

Pale golden. Head is soapy and white then fades down to a dense white layer. nose is sweet pils malts, some spicy and equally neutral floral hops and just a touch of oxidation. Not a whole lot of hop flavor (or that I’m used to in the American pilsners) but not tons of malt either. Comes across more balanced but a spicy hop nose is the most hop I get. Finishes mostly dry with a form bitterness that is somewhat punchy but disappears quite quickly. I guess this is what a classic German pilsner tastes like? I expected it to be dryer yet but still enjoyable. Could have done without that slight oxidation but oh well.
