3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 tseo (45) - GREECE - MAR 28, 2012
Aroma: Grassy, earthy hops and a honey-like malt sweetness.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body, quite fizzy has a certain oily texture.
Taste: Like fresh bread. Firm hop bitterness. Floral notes.
Finish: Tasty malty palate and abold hoppiness all the way through the long, dry finish.
Overall: Great pils, bitter to balanced general impression.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 jackl (727) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 27, 2012
Keg. Pale yellow with a big fluffy head. Sweet bready malt nose. Plenty of sugar, some apples. The taste is a bit thin, sweet grains. Very simple light sugary flavor. Slightly watery finish. Light body. Full carbonation. Overall, a less than fantastic pils. Fine when you’re in a jam.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 MrHangover (465) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAR 19, 2012
Can 500 ml. Clear golden colour, white head. Grassy, grainy aroma, some malts and little skunky. Full bitter flavour, typical pilsner, carbonated mouthfeel. Good German style pilsener..
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Slipstream (1549) - USA - MAR 17, 2012
Supposedly Germany’s #1 draft beer. Light gold pour with a small, stable head. Light cereal aroma with a bit of yeast. Standard Euro macro pilsener/lager. Light sugary sweetness and dull hops. Annoying stale yeasty finish. Bitburger is below average even for the genre, but it is cheap. Brew for the budget-conscious German.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Dazz3 (872) - Hällefors, SWEDEN - MAR 10, 2012
Bottled. Pours yellow with a huge white head. Smells boiled vegetables. Tastes malty and boiled vegetables with a similar finish.
1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 Caytinator (103) - Kaiserslautern, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - MAR 10, 2012
Drank on an overseas flight because it was free - it was even nastier than I remember. Filthy aroma, ugly flat pour. Taste is crisp, but gross aftertaste. I taste dried cow patties and rotten compost grass. Better than the Big 3’s attempts, but not by much.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 erickok (1061) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - MAR 4, 2012
Standard yellow and white head lager, with a super clean taste, leaving just a dry and admittedly refreshing watered down light bitter taste. No aroma whatsoever. Extremely boring pils.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 _angst_ (993) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 3, 2012
330 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours clear pale golden with a small fizzy white head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace. Smell is sweet, floral and malty with hints of caramel, bread and grass. Taste is sweet and slightly stale with caramel and yeasty bread. Mouthfeel is slightly watery, thin to medium bodied with heavy carbonation. Finish is sweet and rather short-lived with caramel and hints of floral hops.
