COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

Bottle/tap. One of the most popular german lagers. Eurohops all the way. Fizzy, malty, refreshing and a good abv. Best on tap fresh. You can drink it all summer long. Does not get dull or tiring.

Pours a clear pale golden color. Aroma and taste are grainy with a bitter finish.

Flaska systembolaget. Ljusgul klar kulör med vitt skum Doft av ljust bröd och gräs. Smaken är brödig med markerad beska. Ganska tunn men beskan gör ändå avtryck i munnen

A German Pils how it should be. Light to medium bitterness. Average, white head. Medium body, high carbonation. Very refreshing. I like it!

When I was young, I experianced the Bitburger as a veeery dry beer… How things can change… But in fact, the Bit still is a typical German Pilsener with an axplicit hop character offering a dry finish and a subtle malt sweetness. It’s far away from the hop blasting IPA’s but it’s more refreshing. A reference for the German Pilsener style. Dry, light and refreshing with a bitter finish. Good beer guys!

Can from LCBO. Grassy lightly hoppy aroma. Skunky bitter pilsener with a decent amount of taste. Better than I thought it would be.

For the nose I found it to be skunky and even metallic. You can trace some malt but it’s subtle. The head is not persistent and the robe is clear and pale. The taste delivers subtle notes of malt and cereals paired with some crispness that can be attributed to the acidity. A little bitterness at the end lets some aromas of hops come through. Not a bad beer but overall I don’t think this pilsner is the best I tried so far. Best served around 10 to 12 degrees

330 ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour, thin white head. Grainy-malty aroma with a aint hoppy note. The flavour is mild, dryish, grainy malty. Watery and boring.
