COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

Backlog. Tried it a number of times, primarily on tap. Some caramel with a hint of citrus and a touch of sweetness.

Bottle. Colour is a light yellow, small white head. Aroma is somewhat fruity and malty. Taste is light sour with a extreme bitterness, and a metallic mouthfeeling. Carbonation is average, with watery mouthfeel, very bitter finish. Has never been one of my favourite beers and will never be one of them.

Grainy maltiness, with some hops, corn, some bread notes. Decent brew, but quite boring

Similar to Aldaris Pilzenes. After running 3 km will not as quite objective in rating as expected, but I will do my best.

Poured from 500ml can into pint glass Appearance: pours a 2" thick white head which moderately recedes leaving some lacing. Light golden mostly clear appearance with plenty of streaming carbonation. Aroma: bready malts dominate with some yeast and hops present. Mouthfeel: light and frothy with a very pleasant finish. Flavor: lightly toasted barley malt, a bit of caramel, some lemon, grass, and a mild hop bite for balance. Overall: a delicious and highly enjoyable pilsner.

One of my favorite beers. After living in Bitburg, Germany for 7 years it brings back many memories. As for the beer it is a crisp and bitter beer that can be enjoyed both ice cold and slightly chilled. The US imported beer is slightly different than the German. So if you get a chance try the original. However, you will not be disappointed with either.

Bottle from supermarket. Colour is golden with a small white head. The aroma is grass and hops and the taste is similar with a very bitter finish.

Bottle enjoyed at Bavaria. Clear yellow pour with a white head. Bland hop and grain aromas. Clean and light with mild bread, grain, and malt highlights. one bitterness from the nondescript hops. Average body and mouthfeel.

Aroma: Moderate grass with semi sweet, crackery malts; very light white grape. Appearance: Transparent gold with a foamy white head that sustained throughout. Flavor: Grass perseveres with semi sweet crackery malts; dries out beautifully with minimal bitterness. The word "elegant" comes to mind. Grassy, but not a grass bomb. Perfectly balanced. Palate: Light body, slick texture, average carbonation, lingering finish. Overall: Best pils to have touched my lips.
