COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

Good solid German beer. Delicious beer for some beer pong or just to sit back and sample with the boys.

WHAT THE BITBURGER WEBSITE SAYS, and I quote: "Note first the bright, fresh golden colour and rich frothy head so typical of this elegant Pilsner beer. Its refined herbal notes are delicately poised, followed by a nutty and honeyed aftertaste. The overall impression of this gently sparkling beer is one of deep harmony, with the unmistakeable bitterness of the hops balanced and contained by an agreeable, mellow sweetness in the body." Say I: "Ya Vol", as the remaining 16.09 FL. OZ. can of Pils gets placed, gently, into the pilsner glass.

Had with our bjcp tasting group. Pours a light straw yellow. Some maltiness. Nice floral aroma. Very nice. Somewhat dry and light bodied. Nice beer.

500ml can. Nice pils but not a very big hit. Correct taste (malt, some bread, smoke, earth, hop and so on), nice odor (dry bread). Pale yellow colour but medium body. I liked its foam!

My favorite Pilsner when on tap. The bottled version is not nearly as good. Dry, crisp, subtle hop bitterness. Light body. Small bubbles with a big, creamy head.

Bue en bouteille. Une Pils vraiment pas fameuse. Une sorte d'eau colorée avec quelques blues quoi.

Tap @ Jack Fairman (JDW), Horley, Surrey. Deep lager yellow without too much carbonation. Smell of malt and ammonia. Equally off-putting and intriguing. Bitter/sour and refreshing taste. Decent if basic, yet a bundle of contradictions. Definitely worth a try.

This is solid but not exceptional. The aroma is lightly hoppy. The color is pale. The taste is malty with that distinctive German hop finish moderately displayed. The palate is light and refreshing, the finish short. The beer goes well with most any food.
