2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Ungstrup (23918) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 1, 2003
A pale yellow beer with a fantastic head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of hay. The flavor is sweet and brewmashy ending on a slight bitterness. An average pilsener on my tastebuds - or did miss something - or maybe my expectations were just too high.

Bottled. Clear pale golden, brief head. Grassy hops dominate the nose. Dry with bready malt, but some syrup comes through and spoils the party. Light bodied with rather mellow mouthfeel. Pleasant salty bitter finish. Feels like a good pils with too short lagering time.,

Draught in Germany Just to confirm that, as for mass produced Lagers, Germany (Bitburger) and Belgium (Stella Artois) brew some better product than Holland, Denmark, Australia ones…
