COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

Bottle 0.5l. Clear light yellow with medium white head. Very light sweetish aroma with notes of corn sugar and a bit floral. Sweetish flavor, some fruitiness and graininess, notes of corn sugar and herbs, light bitterness, semi-dry finish. Moderate carbonation, light-bodied.

Copenhagen 16/11 2014. 50 cl bottle from Netto. Pours clear pale yellow with white head. Fading quickly. Aroma is malty and a little grassy. Medium strong carbonation. Taste is a little sour, grainy and with a little bitterness. Dry finish. A bit boring. But ok to go with your lunch.

Haven’t had this one since the early 00’s when I used to buy it from Reigate’s Safeways. Aroma is bready grass and taste has not enough bitterness, but the maltyness is just enough. Solid I guess but bog standard.

Bottle. Clear yellow comour. Good size white head. Barely any hops in the nose. I expected much more but I realised too late that the bottle might be old. Anyway, I still smelt some spices, pils malt. More spices in the flavour but still quite weak. Yet well balanced with slight bitterness. Medium body and high carbo. Not convinced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. I think this one is underrated, maybe I just really enjoy hoppy pilseners. I was surprised at the hop flavor on this one. Very drinkable, dry, enjoyable. You can do a lot worse, that’s for sure.

Best by date of 08.26.14. Poured from a pint bottle into a tumbler in mid-March, 2014. A: See through light yellow. S: Skunky. T: Grain, malt. Some flower. M: Creamy. O: This did have balance, but it was too skunky. Drain pour.

Bottle/tap. One of the most popular german lagers. Eurohops all the way. Fizzy, malty, refreshing and a good abv. Best on tap fresh. You can drink it all summer long. Does not get dull or tiring.

Flaska systembolaget. Ljusgul klar kulör med vitt skum Doft av ljust bröd och gräs. Smaken är brödig med markerad beska. Ganska tunn men beskan gör ändå avtryck i munnen
