The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

Not very fond of pilsener myself, but I wouldn’t mind to drink it with a couple of friends on a hot sunny day.

From draught in the lounge of the Bitburg "Marken-Erlebniswelt". It pours clear, sparkling and golden with a medium frothy white head. The aroma contains malts, hops, yeast, grass and hay. It tastes medium sweet, light bitter and grassy dry, even very light salty. Light body, fizzy carbonation, long grassy finish. Very refreshing. A good Pilsener.

Clear, golden-yellow colored, small white head. Aroma is of malt, grainy and cereal, some sulphur, bit herbal notes. Taste is light+ sweet malt and grains, cereal, sulphur again, light+ herbal bitterness, dry finish. Light+ body, average carbonation, slight creaminess, crisp. Decent pilsener, nothing too exciting.

Probably it suffered a damage...wet carton, honey, deep golden/amber, foam is absent, light body, law carbonation, taste of resin, honey, very sugary and sticky, bitter doesn’t exist...i must retry it.

Appearance: pale clear yellow color. Minimal head. Aroma: bready notes. Taste: low bitterness, some acidity not in a geuze kind of way more like a synthetic vitamin-c. Palate: small body, thin texture, average carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: When I want a malty beer this is an alternative, but its still a light lager. There are malty lagers with mor huge aroma than this one
