The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

Poured from a 16 OZ can into a pint glass at the World of Beer in Pooler, GA. This beer has a clear golden yellow color with a medium sized white head. It has a a nice hop and citrus smell that matches the flavor. I found this to be a really good pilsener.

BBD 8/18/15. Clear golden pour. Outstanding head volume, lacing and retention. Typical pilsener nose of biscuit and a hint of hops. Light body with a thin textured smoothness. Perfectly carbonated with a nice effervescent burst in the middle and a finely bubbled prickly finish. The flavor profile is border line outstanding. Intensity is moderate, as is complexity, but it is very well balanced. The main lacking ingredient is hop flavor. The middle delivers a mild bitterness against a balancing biscuit sweetness. It is clean and fairly crisp. The finish is a slow fade of residual bitterness.

473ml can, thanks Jo... I guess ;) Aroma: shy aroma of honey, flowers and corn. And also skunky. App: clear pale, medium head, little retention. Taste and palate: skunky in mouth, light body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. Overall: wonder how come it’s that skunky since it’s in a can. Dp

Pours aclear golden color, topped with a fair white head, frothy and slowly settling. Mild aroma, mostly grassy hops. Body is light, taste is very crisp and refreshing. Some initial sweetness followed by a nice grassy hops and decent bitterness in the finish. A very fine pils which is extra easy to drink.

Lata. Dorada clara. Bien de espuma aunque se va rápido. No mucho aroma. Refrescante. Una decente pils

This beer is definitely a Pilsner. It seems that the skunky taste comes from the light brown bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From the 16 oz. can dated 2015-04-10. I am stunned that I have not rated this one until now. It comes and goes in New Hampshire. Bright yellow color with a full white foamy head. Good clarity. The aroma is abundant with German pale malts, grain, and bread with a modest grassy note in there too. Light to medium body. Again, like the ate, toasted sweetness in the taste with a more forward grassy bitterness to finish. I can see why it sells so well in Germany.

Fles gekregen, uitgeschonken in pilsener fluitglas.
