COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

Pours a golden color, completely clear, with little to no head. The aroma is skunk and corn. The taste is actually pretty light (my wife hates it). It’s not something I would drink often but for a lager it’s not offensive, just boring and a little skunky.

Clear golden pour with a big white head. Aroma of bread, some grainy sweetness, and yeast. Minimal hop aroma and very light esters. The flavor is light, semi-sweet, and crisp. Bread, grain, yeast, and a touch of floral and grassy hops. Very light bitterness and a dry finish.

Light in appearance. subtle yet appealing aroma. Trace of hops. Light and refreshing beer. Good intro beer so long as it is followed by something more complex and flavorful.

Can. Didn’t get much nose, bit of, hops, dusty grain. Crisp mouthfeel, decent aftertaste. Refreshing. Solid, but nothing too exciting.

11.2 fl oz / 330mL bottle into a pint glass. Served cold. Aroma: Malty. Not cheap cereals or adjuncts. A nice light, subtle hop aroma. Appearance: Absolutely clear bright yellow. Even with an aggressive pour, the head was thin and not enduring. Taste: Nice and malty, backed up by a crisp hop bite. Really nice! Palate: Medium body. Not watery at all. Nice hop bitterness that kind of sits and slowly fades. Overall: Finally. This is what all lagers should be. Not watery, not corny or rice-y. This is a great brew.

500ml can. Clear golden color. Tiny chunky white head, stays. Doesn’t look very good. Malty, sour aroma. Malty, grainy, starchy flavor.

Can sample. Clear, straw colour. Grassy, malty nose, slightest wiff of hops. Palate is dry and malty with bitterness on the finish. Refreshing and crisp. Good lawn mower beer!

Draft at Loreley...Rater #1500... Nose is grassy hops, pilsner malts, and a bit of spice... Clear gold color, lasting sheet of white head, med lace... Taste is lightly sweet and lightly bitter.. Clean and drinkable, smooth feel, avg carb, lightly dry... Never rated this one, eh? Well it is a clean and classic example of the style. Solid, but not outstanding flavors.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4035) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 17, 2013
Sampled from a 16.9 oz can this beer poured a very pale yellow color with an enormous soapy yellow-white head that lingered forever and left decent lacing. The aroma was perfumey and grassy and had no depth. The flavor was bitter, tangy, perfumey and grassy with hints of yeast, pepper and bubblegum. Long bitter perfumey and grassy finish. Not good.
