The classic Bitburger - a mature and most agreeable beer - is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter - with a strong hop taste.

I have to say that this is one of the most enjoyable german pilseners around. It is very well made, with good complexity, a mild flavor profile, and a nice aftertaste. It develops well in the mouth

Bottle. I think this one is underrated, maybe I just really enjoy hoppy pilseners. I was surprised at the hop flavor on this one. Very drinkable, dry, enjoyable. You can do a lot worse, that’s for sure.

Best by date of 08.26.14. Poured from a pint bottle into a tumbler in mid-March, 2014. A: See through light yellow. S: Skunky. T: Grain, malt. Some flower. M: Creamy. O: This did have balance, but it was too skunky. Drain pour.

Bottle/tap. One of the most popular german lagers. Eurohops all the way. Fizzy, malty, refreshing and a good abv. Best on tap fresh. You can drink it all summer long. Does not get dull or tiring.

Pours a clear pale golden color. Aroma and taste are grainy with a bitter finish.

Flaska systembolaget. Ljusgul klar kulör med vitt skum Doft av ljust bröd och gräs. Smaken är brödig med markerad beska. Ganska tunn men beskan gör ändå avtryck i munnen

When I was young, I experianced the Bitburger as a veeery dry beer… How things can change… But in fact, the Bit still is a typical German Pilsener with an axplicit hop character offering a dry finish and a subtle malt sweetness. It’s far away from the hop blasting IPA’s but it’s more refreshing. A reference for the German Pilsener style. Dry, light and refreshing with a bitter finish. Good beer guys!

Bottle @ home. clear yellow beer with medium head. Nose is on dry malt and grassy hops. Aroma is on the same, thin body, high carbonation, corn sugar background.
