COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A red colored ale that contains a complex malt bill. Pale malts give it a heavy body while crystal malts from lands abroad give it color and sweetness. This ale has been dry hopped to enhance its floral aroma.

Sampled at the brewery. The aroma is filled with citrus, floral hops, some toffee and bread crust. The flavor is a bit harsh, citrus, floral hops again, toasted malts. Not bad, just a bit harsh.

On tap at brewery. Clear copper red with a fizzy white head. Sweet malty and citrus aroma and taste with a sharp citrus finish.

From the tasting glass: the appearance is amber with a tan-ish head. Unfortunately I was a bit congested so the aromas were difficult to detect. I was able to get some roasty notes and hoppy bitterness in the flavor. Has a nice medium body.

Rum River Wort Hogs Meeting, Dec ’09. Growler. Red color with no head. Orangey aroma, seems like Cascades. Biscuity taste. Light butterscotch and a little caramel. A bit of a vinous hop character.

Draught. Pours cloudy amber with a small, fizzy white head, mostly diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (caramel, straw, meal), heavy hop (flowers, citrus, orange), average yeast (dough, sweat) with notes of apple, pear, peach, and pineapple. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.

Reddish amber. Aroma is very fruity (sweet fruits) with some lighter caramel notes. Medium to light body, moderate to light bitterness. Enjoyable take on the style.

[Colorado Road Trip – 2006] A very interesting amber ale with a lite hops presence. This was a very drinkable beer with a malt build that was very pleasant to drink.

Actually a decent amber ale, this was one has some character and complexity. Rich on the palate, semi-sweet, with lots of caramel and candy. Also has a nice bit of sweet fruitiness, and a nice lingering hop bite in the finish. I would drink this again
