(Growler) Pours a slightly cloudy light brown with a small off-white head. Light grapefruit aroma. Enjoyable balanced hops with sweet malt. Thanks to legion242 for sharing!

Really murky, no head, and tons of pepper spice in the nose. Good effervesence on the tongue. Spice is right up front and the alcohol is quite evident. Traveled well also.

Nuffield (3087) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - AUG 25, 2004
Big hops with a bit of pumpernickel coming out of it, and an edge of alcohol. Woody in a way. Deep golden color. Syrupy palate, stinging with bitterness. Lively too. Long finish, bitter. Quite engaging. Thanks to Legion242 for hauling this back to Dallas! (growler)

Lumpy (1802) - Carrollton, Texas, USA - AUG 22, 2004
Growler. Good sticky mouthfeel, heavy hop presence. Nose is hoppy with some citrus. Heavy malt backbone. Finishes clean with a little bit of stickiness.

Poured cloudy amber with almost no head at all...smelled very floral at first, then citrus fruits...more sweetness in the mouth than I expected...a little bitter in the finish, but that goes away quickly due to the alcohol...a slight medicinal aftertaste...

Although I’m rating this from memory I remember it quite well. This was the first brew I ever had at the Bitter End. Not bad. Sreved in a pilz glass. Exceedinlgy aniseedy and hoppy in the nose. Almost like a Barleywine though not overpowering enough to get you there. The Palate...as I remember was excellent...mor ebitter than floral. Good brew. G-rat

Tap. Also known as "Richter Scale Rye". Amber, average head, slightly hazy. Attractive malty aroma, but the nice mellow flavor of the "supa-fly rye" and the higher alcohol content clash for me. I prefer the regular version.

Dark red in color. Great head. Good lacing. Nice citrus hop nose. Nice hop bitterness and flavor with slightly dry finish. Very well balanced. This is a very drinkable beer.
