3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Braudog (4606) - Hampton, USA - FEB 26, 2003
Very clear, slight citrus scent and vague orange-rind flavor. Little wheat character, but good all the same.

On tap. The admittedly Coors Light substitute for those who don’t like/know micros from the brewery. Light, clean, inoffensive, and yes, dull.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Lumpy (1802) - Carrollton, Texas, USA - AUG 14, 2005
Tap. Light body with a bubble thin. Almost nothing. Some wheat, some citric acid. The complete lack off lavor reminds me of why they force the lemon on the rim of the glass.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 BeerRules (243) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 29, 2005
On tap. Aromas of sweet citrus. Tasted of honey, and some hops. Feels weird in your mouth, kinda sticky. Lame

Pours a watery piss-yellow. The aroma is weak, and the flavor is a Pabst without the flavor. Palate is watery and thin. This is a typical American Wheat, which is to say it sucks. There is little wheat to be found, and it tastes like mineral water with alcohol. Leave it to the Germans, guys- y’all haven’t got "it."
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Walt (2448) - Austin, Texas, USA - FEB 12, 2005
Poured cloudy yellow with no head (bartender)...a touch of banana and clove in the nose, and just a touch indeed...taste is thin and overly sweet...some wheat in the finish...
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 RateandPillage (426) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JAN 19, 2005
On tap at Bitter End. Light golden in color with little to no head (but it is well carbonated in the mouth). Almost none of the aroma or flavor one would associate with a wheat beer. Very light; probably only suited for drinking at the pool or after yard work.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 PorterPounder (4105) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - NOV 12, 2004
Had on tap at Bitter End in Austin. Medium golden pour, faint white head, slight haziess. Fresh lake water aroma with a bit of honey sweetness. Flavor has some underlying sweetness, honey perhaps with a trace of trailing yeastiness. Mouthfeel slightly sticky. One of Bitter End’s standbys, does in a pinch. Goes good with a meal.

Clear golden with a thin white head. Faintly sweet, but mostly non-existent aroma. Body is mild and lightly sweet with a tangy orange citrus finish. A touch of hops runs throughout. A drinkable American wheat.
