[500ml bottle; gift from Jim - cheers!] Deep amber with a moderate off-white head; slight to moderate fizz. Good fresh hop aroma with a bit of pine. Taste dominated by caramel; good quality caramel though. A bit of apple and pine in there too, with a peppery finish. Could do with a bit more bitterness, but it’s decent enough.

Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, light to moderate hoppy, light toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20101204]

Bottle at Cockermouth tastiong Cockney Pub. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. DArk yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Slightly sour notes. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle @ Cockney pub tasting. Nice head with good duration. Aroma and taste are citrus, malt, hops and fruits.

BC from Booth’s, Ilkley. Lager gold with a steady bead and low white head. Clean grassy hop and honeyed malt aroma, with some flecks of...pig, lemon and lime jelly and chickpea reminscent of Westy Blonde?. Slight and pleasant with mown grass, sesame seed buns, soft minerals. Quite a bit of malt fullness considering the paleness and strength. Refreshing, uncomplicated stuff.

Cask (handpump) at the Market Porter on 4 December 2010. Pale amber colour. Slight haze. Mildly peppery aroma. Decent enough session bitter if nothing particularly out of the ordinary.

UPDATED: JUN 25, 2010 Bottle sourced via Mybrewerytap.com. Amber pour with a white head. Aromas of peaches, pears, baked apple. Nice fruity action in the flavour too. Malty, bitter finish. Not too bad.
