Had on tap at the brewpub in Austin,. Pours a medium orange with a medium sized white head and sticky lacing. Aroma has a pleasant floral tint to it with a touch of caramel. Mouthfeel has some creaminess to it Flavor has a decent citrus back end with some up front caramel notes and a bit of a nutty back end. Decent mellow bitter notes, has some good session possibilities.

On draught. This is an English-style Amber ale. The color is of course, amber, with a nice, fine head. The aroma has light maltiness, and the english hops go right with it. The flavor is light malt, medium hops, and pretty clean. Good beer and definitely to style.

Pale copper. Mild malt nose. Heavy dry malt on 1st sip. Reminds me of a boring English SB. Stays dry- perhaps too much hops for the style.

Tap. Orange, somewhat clear. I hate rating this style of beer, there’s just never that much to go on. It’s got some pretty good malts, it’s well balanced, and it tastes like beer. Yup. SOme nice sweetness towards the end, a little caramel-chocolate. Slightly nutty, not bad.

Pours a murky light copper with a thin head and good lacing. Earthy and herbal nose. It has a balanced malt flavor. Nice bitter.
