3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap. Well, SWEET...they finally brought this back so I can inch a little bit closer to 100% of Bitter End beers. Now if they could just bring back the Hammerhead Porter, which hasn’t been on tap for like 9 months and that I somehow missed the whole time...ahh, anyway. Orange color with an off-white head and a little effervescence. Mild and very bready, going well with one of their pizzas. Nice sweet malts that are an interesting and original take on the style. Well done!

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had on tap at the brewpub in Austin. Dark golden to light orange pour with a decent white head. Aroma has some fresh lake water accents with a brief hint of honey. Flavor has some sweet honey notes as well with some underlying cotton candy sweetness. Very smooth and drinkable with a thick creamy mouthfeel. One of the best brewpub lagers that I have come. Not strong in any one category but all around a good drinkable lager.

Nice. Somewhat herbal for a lager and fairly flavorful, as is just about everything brewed by Bitter End. Perhaps my favorite of their brews on tap on this day. Fairly mild.
