Dark brown appearance; little to no head, good chocolate nose. Some coffee and chocolate in the flavor. Slight chewy mouthfeel. Overall, a solid mouthfeel, worth a visit if in the area.

Dark, dark garnet colored. Minimal head as usual for BE. Very dark roasty first sip. No doubt that you have bitten into a porter. Ashy.

Found my notes on a bar napkin. Dark brown with little head and some lacing. Roasty aroma with some fruity notes. Nice creamy texture. Nice porter.

Tap. Whew...glad I found the coaster that I wrote this rating on, lest I miss another BE rating. Opaque black, small head. Dark malty aroma, slight cherries. Malty, a little bit lactic. Not quite up to normal BE standards.
