Had on tap at the brewpub in Austin. Pours a murky, dark orange with a medium bodied off-white head - thick sticky lacing. Aroma is crisp with spearmint and floral notes. Flavor has some of the same accents and is citrusy, but not tongue numbing. Has a solid malt backbone with some sweet nuttiness going on. Fades just a tad near the end, but not enough to mark down. Mouthfeel is thick and sticky. An excellent IPA - rivals some west coast standards I have enjoyed - would not expect anything less from BE.

Tap. Very fresh rye aroma which blends nicely with the young Bitter End malts. Reddish brown, beige head. This has got to be one of the breadiest beers ever. I feel like I could put in a blender with some pepper turkey, swiss, and mustard and drink me a delicious rye sammich. Interesting complexities, with notes of pine, grapes, wine. Hoppy and slightly bitter finish, this would be stellar on cask.

Pours a dark crimson color with great head and a nice creamy lacing. Great citrus and malt with some spicy notes in the aroma. The flavor is there too but with a nice bitterness and good malt to balance. Nice crisp finish. Sticky texture. Damn good RyePA. Good job Brian!
