Bomber bought at Fairway in CDA, ID. Pours a clear copper with a medium white head that collapses after a minute or two. Aroma is tart huckleberries, grain. Taste is sweet and tart with a dry hoppy finish. Carbonation is average, body thin to medium. Pretty good.

Fresh fruit nose, little soft honey. Bright gold, small white head. Tastes of whole fruit with a soft bitterness. My kind of fruit beer.

Bottle: Dark yellow pour with a billowy white head. Aroma of huckleberries it fairly sweet and intense. A little fruity up front before finishing soapy and a befuddled floral/wheat taste of both sour and herbal notes. Not good.

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Nice purple panties on the label! Very hazy honey gold pour, lively white head. Aroma is perfumey berries, huckleberries I guess, although the perfume character makes me think equally of blueberries. Sweet but with a dry finish, heavy fruit on the front of the palate, but missing the tartness I like in a berry-fruit beer. Also, the fruit flavour doesn’t seem genuine somehow, but I’m not a huckleberry connesieur

Very strong huckleberry aroma with a sweetish taste. Little hopping. It’s hard to get a good balance in a fruit beer and this one is close but a little too fruity.

22. Pours a cloudy dark amber with dark golden bronze edges. Dense sudsy white head with plenty of lace. Nice sweet fruity nose, a little on the sugary side, but convincingly makes the case that there are probably bits of real fruit in there somewhere. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Sweet honey and berry notes on the mid-palate with just a bit of caramel; finish shows some nice contrasting bitterness, but definitely not much. Harmoniously balanced. How fitting to crack this one on the last day of summer.

On tap at Tamarack Brewing, Missoula. Pours dirty blonde with a thin off-white head and a berry aroma. There is a strong caramel malt flavor with a sweet honey and berry flavor.

The fruit beer pours amber orange with a decent creamy white head. The aroma is sweet berry juice dominating over a bit of crisp wheat like malt notes. Tons of sweet berry flavor characterize this light crispy dry brew with some bitterness on the back end.

12oz Bottle Thanks to JohnGalt1. Pours a hazy straw topped with a white head. Aroma was of sweet huckleberry, spice, malty sweetness, and some light hop notes. Taste was much as the aroma not over the top on the berries. A nice sweet honey and a little malt.

Bottle - Pours cloudy yellow with a light off-white head. Honey is sweet on the nose with some nice berry tones that I can only assume is huckleberry. Very smooth. Taste is surprisingly dry, with a bit of medicinal/aspirin note. Thought it’d be sweeter. Light yeast and herbal hop note on the finish. Smooth and watery. Nice.
