Aroma was my favorite azpect of this beer. It lost head almost immediately. Effervessence on the bitter rcepticles, but in no way bitter. One of the best smelling beers I have had.

A very strong nutty aroma, with a fairly strong nut flavor to the body as well. Okay, just not my style.

Aroma of roasted malts, nuts, and cola. Pours a cola brown with no head or lacing. The taste is much like the nose. Roasted malts, nuts, and grain with hints of coffee and a slightly bitter finish. Medium body with a medium carbonation. Overall, a very enjoyable and tasty beer.

Bottle - Rich coffee aroma with the slightest bit of alcohol. Rich opaque brown with a nice thin but persistent brown head. Roasted coffee, malts, tinge of bitterness and alcohol on the finish. The ’nut’ is lost on me but it is a nice dark beer, a little strong and more like a porter

650ml bomber bottle pours brown in color with a finger of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild but pleasant with roasted grains and chocolate. Taste is roasted grainy and hoppy bitterness with a chocolate malty sweetness. Light to medium body with decent carbonation. A nicely balanced brew that is recommended for a good tasting experience.

22oz bottle. Poured a deep amber, almost brown color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of roast, nuts, coffee grounds and earth. Tastes of roast, coffee, earthy, nuts, and caramel.

I’ve really started to like the Nut Browns, and this one is no different. Brown in color with a burnt amber/red when held to light, the nose on this is great. It smells like the brown skin part of a walnut just under the shell. It was lighter on the palate than I anticipated, and had a smooth draw and nice flavor.

Bottle poured a clear reddish brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of cola, carmel and light spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, earthiness and light cola with a smooth lingering carmel finish.

Draft at the Old Post. Murky dark brown with a dense and creamy tan head. Big burning leaves and toasted nuts on the nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, nuts, leaves, and black bread on the mid palate. Mild finish. Great brown.
