Pours a light brownish-orange, with a light tannish head. Nice Marzen style beer, with a good balance of malts and hops. Thumbs up on this one.

Bottle. Handsome deep auburn with an off-white cap. Aroma is sweet caramel with just hints of earth. Palate is straightforward caramel, but a nice flavour and surprisingly fuller in the body than I was expecting, considering that this brewer has been less than impressive with some of their other offerings. Simple but satisfying.

This beer is a rich amber color with light amount of foam. The aroma is creamy and sweet. The flavor is pleasant and light.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2010 Sample at the 2nd annual Montana Brewers Festival. Clear amber. Aroma of caramel, nut. Tatse has lots of toasty bready malt.... Bomber- clear amber, light tan head. Aroma of caramel, nut, bread, some tart apple. Taste is mostly sweet with bready malt and nut. I just don’t like most O’fest’s that much honestly.

Bottle: Amber color with a thin, sandy head. Smells mild. Sweet and malty. Lagerish taste with sweetness and light florals. Ends up rather bland.

Bottle: Hmmm, first to rate? Clear amber color, light head and lacing. Nose of light munich malts and fruity yeast, some caramel and alcohol; more apple like fruitiness. Semi-vegetal and fruity flavor with light gran in the finish. Very basic oktoberfest. Lager, malt, repeat.
