Bomber from Brewforia. Wild child. 4 fingers of creamy beige head over 2 fingers of copper/amber liquid. Aroma is floral/citrus over light caramel. Near med body. Flavor starts with floral, goes to light roast malt, moves on to citrus. Don’t know about the hop asserting, but this stuff is pretty darn bitter. But the floral does its best to hang in. If you like bitter, this is likely one for you.

bottle. caramel brown body, off-white head. banana bread, toffee and caramel malt nose with a crusty, dried leaf hop note. medium body, flabby texture, low acid, low carbonation. chewy, rounded malt texture lacks support. egg shell yeast note kills it sadly a drain pour.

Bottled, from Bozeman, MT. Clear amber, rich head. Resiny citrus aroma. Mid sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel and medium body. Somewhat resiny bitterness. An uncomplicated pale ale.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2010 Pours clear amber orange with a foamy beige head. Aroma of toffee, husky grain and citrus rind. Taste is bitter, lots of vineous herbiness with a thin caramel malt presence. Texture is light with high carbonation. .....Sampled at the brewery- grain and citrus aroma, Taste is milder.

Received a 22-oz bomber via trade with kyzr. Pours a semi-clear copper amber colored brew with a thin off-white head that slowly dissipates. Aroma of floral hops, some light caramel malt, and a touch of toffee. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of light caramel malt, some floral hops, a touch of spice and some toffee. Finish has a nice balance of floral hop and caramel malt aftertaste. Very little bitterness from the two years of aging.

Bottle: A dull copper pour with two fingers of sand colored head. Aroma of light florals, malts, and a bit earthy. Wtf? A grassey, lagery malty thing is about all I can taste here... it loses all pale ale qualities and goes straight to premium lager? Honestly, this is like someone put orange dye #2 in bud/miller/coors here? Dick.

My Bottom Line:
Dull caramelized cereals observe earthy, leafy hops attempt to take control as they paint mediocre flavors and bitterness onto this slightly disorganized English-style Pale Ale.

Further PErsonal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the hazy amber.
-Tartness builds as you go through the bomber. Surely something is awry.
-Balance is achieved I guess, but clarity and structure in the flavor profile would be needed to say it was successful, imho.
-Effervescence remains soft and thus the lean body is able to offer drinkability.
-This isn’t that bad, but I cannot deem it a good example of a session Pale Ale either.

Bottle.

Bomber. Pours chill-hazed copper with a lacy off-white head. Aroma of citrus, earth, flowers and toffee. Medium body, moderate carbonation. I’m at a bit of a loss to describe the taste. Maybe mango with some butter? Earthy and dry finish.
